That's odd, you mean you can't trade for credits or use them to trade for things? Could you post a screenshot? First solution I recommend is to verify integrity of game cache, start a new game and see if the problem persists. If it does make a ticket to support with a save game attached.

Congratulations to the winners. And thanks to everyone who participated.
Virtual memory allocation is not a setting just for the game. Look here .
I have an Acer Aspire 5750G and play on the largest map with 14 opponents with no problem. Have you tried reducing the graphical settings? Or checked your virtual memory?
Glad to see it's working for you, have fun.
Well you seem meet the system requirements. Here is a general troubleshooting guide. I suggest you check if your drivers are up to date and see your virtual memory settings.
*snip* Forgot about that option, but my comment still stands. Even a spy has to travel to (and land) see the tile layout.
If you are talking about Crusade, that's not how it works. After having a high enough espionage level on a civ, in the surveillance screen you can check on their colonies and see their layout. You don't need to send a spy to the colony, you just have to have discovered that colony.

Try exiting properties and entering again, or restart Steam.
Usual steps. Check if all your drivers are up to date. Try to reinstall Directx. Verify integrity of game cache.

Or was it agreed upon earlier that precursor would not be the succesor ? SCO already have plenty exposure let them have what they want, i will play both games anyway. Not siding with either at this moment, i would like to hear P&F's side to this though haven't herd a peep...i was so h

Where did I wrote that SD wanted royalties or even implied that? I understood from Tailor's post that he was implying Paul and Fred had some claim to the brand, as in the trademark. If I misunderstood I apologise. And it's not about the name. Stardock owns more than the name. "Stardock, by contrast, possesses a perpetual, exclusive, worldwide licensing and sales agreement that was explicitly transferred to us by Atari who in turn acquired it from Accolade"
I hate typing on a mobile, just lost my post and have to start over. "Star Control" never belonged to Paul and Fred. The trademark was registered by Accolade. Which hired Paul to make a game for it. There were more people involved with the games than Paul and Fred. Look at the credits of SC1&2 or one of the articles linked in the first post. Stardock doesn't want to use the lore of the Ur-Quan universe. They want an agreement with P&F which would transfer
You guys realize it looks a little sinister to emphasize "responsibilities", like there's something in there someone wouldn't want? Like, what.. the "responsibilities" include some kind of debt or negative legal baggage? What are the downsides to having a clear path to the rights? I too would like to see the campaigns of GC2 ported over.
Just posting some of my thoughts so I won't forget them. If this is a misunderstanding why didn't they contact Brad directly since we know they were in talks? If they, P&F, had a legal leg to stand on why not just send a cease and desist letter to Stardock rather than posting a statement on a blog? Why post the statement on a Friday afternoon when there would be no one at the office of Stardock to make an official response?
After thinking about it for a while here are my suggestions for Stardock, keep in mind I have no knowledge of laws. if it is legally possible make available online the document between Paul and Accolade also post the document through which you wanted to return the rights to Paul and Fred if it possible post proof of royalties paid to Paul and Fred from the sale of classic games if you have any from when Atari owned the IP post that as well <
If there is a legal battle over this the only ones who would win are lawyers. The fans, Stardock and Paul & Fred would all lose. Now regarding Paul and Fred's announcement.
Why would that be a problem? The old games have been available for purchase on GOG since 2011 and Paul & Fred receive a royalty for them.
Here's a compromise for planet scanning, when you orbit a planet it gives you an indication of minerals, levels of life, energy presence, weather hazard etc., all without scanning, that way you can tell if it is worth it to visit the planet even before scanning. To get the dots on the planet and get an idea of where you should land you have to scan, but instead of three scans there is only one. I've been thinking on my suggestion for the old Trandals' model an
