The descriptions of ability effects in this game have been confusing since the very first release of Vanilla Sins. This is the right time to fix that if you ask me.
Also have Windows 7. For me it does show the Rebellion icon (yes, the one with the fist). This is only since the last (unintentional) release though.
Cipherpunk just got pwned.
I'm glad they fixed the Advent Starbases' color bug (which was only present in earlier versions with a mod that enabled the Advent). That was bothering me lol.
Do us a favor and stop bumping your own thread, or at least rename it into "General Titan discussion" or something...
I think it is fine not to be able to zoom in as far as before, but please remove that invisible bubble around structures that makes you zoom in on them when you did not intend to do so. It is annoying as hell, it was fine the way zooming worked in Trinity, why change it?
The sounds are present when I play. Don't know why you aren't able to hear them.
The corvettes' abilities aren't done yet though... So it remains to be seen what kind of buffs they get once they are officially released.
Currently the Advent have a passive boost that helps them establish relations with other factions much more easily. It is a nice touch to be honest.
Would have to be Grindstone for me. Love tight maps with conflicts increasing in intensity as game time increases. One wrong move can be devastating on maps like this. Being mindful of your actions because of the dire consequences they have is thrilling I think.
Sucks that they haven't fixed the exhaust trails for the Discord yet. It looks crappy. The ship itself has a very interesting overall look though. Still not sure if I like it... [e digicons]:\[/e]
OK. But does that mean that what he says about the new polygon-rendering engine is false? If so that would be a big disappointment. How do you know that he is a troll?
What he said is actually in the Rebellion features list. He may be trolling every now and then, but what he said here was completely correct.
In the Supreme Commander series, unit construction is fully animated and the units leave their respective factories guns blazing when enemies are in range. Sadly, I think implementing such a feature is not easily done for Sins at this point...
I still hear the sound you mentioned. Strange...
HOW DARE YOU!? [e digicons]:(O[/e]
Yea better don't. [e digicons]:P[/e]
There is one star that boosts shield regeneration as a secondary effect. I believe it is the yellow star. I once made a small list of all star types and their passive effects on ships and starbases, but I don't remember where I post it.
They did it so they won't be abused for in-game lag during multiplayer sessions. People sometimes made 2000 or so corvettes in order to make other people ragequit because of severe lag.
That Vasari titan is practically the largest ship in the game right now. But it needs to be, since it is a mobile homeworld for the Vasari Loyalists.
Yeap I have noticed this one as well. Annoying sometimes but there are worse things in life...
Yea the map designer could use a few upgrades, I agree.
A phase lane that doesn't line up with the grey planet. Looks like the icon moved out of the gravity well where it should be at for some reason. Strange indeed...
Hmm suicide bombers would be funny! [e digicons][/e]
Well I got a 1GB vidcard which should do fine in my opinion. [e digicons]:P[/e]
