Sinkillr has changed his name so many times, peoples have forgotten TIBERIUS is another one of his accounts... Well played Sin, well played...
We should start an official Sinkillr tracking thread so we can educate the people on the forums... which is apparently only you Seleuceia... but perhaps it will help keep our mass cognitive dissonance in check?
You people need to get a life. How can you possibly become so upset because someone chooses to use some hardware that YOU don't? I use an iPhone and an iPad, and I don't appreciate being called stupid for my choice. I'm kinda glad I don't hang around here so much any more, as many of you are quite pathetic in your vehemence. It's a PHONE! Do you go around chastising people for their choice of a leather

With cash? Never, unless you get it from an ATM (never advisable for monetary and security reasons). Good post, but.... This is the only point I have trouble with. I p

My wife works at an electronic store. She was handling a demo Iphone 6 and it felt so flimsy to her that she didn't realise it was a live unit. She accidentally dropped it and other staff gasped at her. She was like "What? It's just a demo unit" and they respond saying "It's LIVE!" She laughed and just said 'whoops'. Point of the story; my wife handles electronics and phones all day long, and even she thought the Iphone 6 was a flimsy toy.
Nice Try Sinkillr, see I always tag your accounts with Sinkillr so no matter how many times you change your name I know it is you. You changed your Sinkillr account to RoaringWarren, now you've changed it to Hydrakiller (bit unoriginal) so you could start a new account called RoaringWarren. An account you opened y

You build ships, send them in combat and watch the replay. Oh come on..... just look at the list at q3.
Tactical combat is usually a make or break thing for me. If a game looks good, but has no tactical combat I tend to av

Fair enough, I see where you are coming from. I also tend to agree with you to an extent with things like fully voiced diplomacy. It really doesn't add much, I'd prefer a few simple lines, like a couple of greetings and responses that change based on how much a faction likes you. So I guess we have a consensus about that =D Much like a lot is lost since The Elder Scrolls started having fully voiced dialogue.
I'm pretty sure I know what immersion means. What I fear is trade offs. Trade offs as in what you must give up to get something else. In this case, if the devs end up thinking that immersion is the only thing that is important to the players, then they might end up sacrificing things to free up resources to further boost immersion. I fear that thing might be the stuff that I like. What I'm doing is making sure that the
I want to do a follow up. There have been a lot of people talking about immersion. They seem to talk as though it were the only thing that is important. I'm one of those people who cares more about strategy and numbers than immersion. If anything, I worry that too much immersion will make it difficult to play the game. Sometimes the best thing I can do (from a strategic perspective) is click end turn to continue progress in researchin
1) I like feeling like diplomatic interlocutors are characters that exist in the world and have a coherent personality. An example I remember long after player would be interactions with other races in Starflight. Starting from first contact the way you interact with them can make other aspects of the game go more smoothly or create obstacles (and sometimes both). 2) The question doesn't make much sense, but I&#3
