Add to that the stupid trend of adding 'gate' to the end of words to imply a 'scandal' even though it makes no sense. Watergate was the name of a hotel. the 'gate' was part of the hotels name for crying out loud. It makes no sense to add 'gate' to then end of a word. >_

I have to apologise Seluceia, I did intend to read your post and give a proper response about TEC strategy.. but I ended up putting your post into google translate and pressed the button to read it out... in Japanese. I was just curious and now I can't get the thought out of my head that you're secretly a Japanese school girl..... I suggest people start doing this to Sinkillr's posts. It will be awesome.
Sinkillr's new tagline: "Its sad people are abusing my karma system to piss me off." Lets all +1 Karma to good old Sinkillr... err I mean 'RoaringWarren '
I'm going to mostly answer the question about Diplomacy, because it is something that often gets neglected. First up I like it when there are multiple states of peace and war. A lot of games it is either complete peace/alliance or outright war. I prefer a more scaled approach: - War: little need for explanation. This is actively seeking your destruction - 'cold' war: This state automatically starts if a 'neutral' factions territory
Well, I still say you're a Seluceia alt devoted to karma whoring.... So there's that. I mean, look at the karma you've collected in such a short amount of time. You're kind of our own SJW against flak.

Windowless cockpits were tried a few times...for supersonic military aircraft....forward view via periscope...[aerodynamic/tech necessity]... but convincing wobbly Joe Public to travel in a plane at the best of times doesn't always go well...and to think the potential existed where-by the pilots could be BLIND would be an absolute commercial deal-breaker....[e digicons

Sins was marketed as a 4x RTS hybrid. End of story. Oh... and Sinkillr is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah... Australians such as myself do laugh their ass off when seeing this... and then we usually take a moment to cry inside. It's pretty overwhelming that people can be this stupid.
[quote who="Sinkillr" reply="21" id="3450515"] Have you guys ever experienced this where you adjust your graphics settings and the ships/buildings/planets turn to a uniform color of gray for a few seconds? I find that during that period lag is reduced considerably because the detail is reduced to minecraft-level. It would be great if we can actually get that barebones setting, because plenty of people don't care about graphics. Hell, I would still play sins if all the ships and plane

Always felt it was silly to have one ship fight at a time arcade style... it felt so counter intuitive to the rest of the game. I'd prefer something a bit more tactical with your whole fleet able to join in the fight.
LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth was an amazing RTS! Please send a thanks from me to the guys who worked on it! It was a great game to play and I often still play it with my family! Looking forward to see what you guys are working on!

[quote who="Stant123" reply="351" id="3489558"] The assumption is that if one is destroyed, the UEEN will add one to the build queue at the shipyards and when it's complete, they'll keep the new one and mothball the oldest one somewhere for the explorers to find. This prevents cap ship spam because they will always be in limited number and the time it takes to build one would be quite long, so if multiple go down in one battle, it could be several months or longer before th

While technically no one can really stop you, using other modders work without getting their ok first is usually frowned upon by any modding community. In this instance you're lucky that both original mod authors are pretty cool guys otherwise you might have ended up in a bit of an internet battle.
