Well, I think, for what it's worth, I'll stick in my two cents....I have had OD for 3 years and have never...repeat...never had problems with any of it. Since I make computers for a living, I can only state that it has been my experience over the years that nine out ten computer 'problems' are the result of the operator, not the machine. feline... to answer your question about drivers...Windows keeps the default driver in backup files so that when there are no other drivers there it tries to install them in System32 folder. If you just delete the main driver the default driver just 'appears' Even if you delete the default driver it will re-appear in about 5 seconds. feline..it could, as lPlural said, be your internal modem. Disabling sometimes doesn't free up the resources that were assigned to it and locks up when the external modem uses the same resources. It sounds more like your graphics drivers though. In FX program click on 'transitions' and check 'run in fall back mode'. Your system should run fine in either mode..this sounds like the infamous Windows XP update 811493. Check your add and remove programs in the Control Panel (Hotfix) and if you have it, uninstall it... You should switch to SDC but that's no big deal right now..and I certainly wouldn't do it with the clock set back. If everything is working properly I wouldn't un-install anything.

Yes it is....when you install it just go with the recommended settings until you get a feel for it You'll also have to play with the Winbond settings until you come up with the sensor that's on your board...just keep changing it until you get a reading on the dashboard <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb
