ahhhh...it just occurred to me..why are you looking for folder????????
yrag2
everyhing should be in program files/stardock/windowblinds
here we go...in SDC right check on Wblind and archive 'selected App'. After it does that(and it will take a minute or so) right click again and hit update. You should end up with version 3.99c[b].009 and version 3.50showing under available.
love them fonts China
Thanks Jim.....now GG...if it shows as 3.50 that means you loaded it after downloading new verison. Since the dll file was newer it probably didn't overwrite it. Look to see if you show 2 wblind app. in SDC....while you're looking I want to try something...be right back
ok...........does wblind verison 3.50 show in SDC under available??????????
yes...it should show in SDC as installable
like that part about running like a dream...I just changed my Mobo yesterday and XP did a choke and puke on me. Where' Bill Gates home number when you want it????????
ummmmm...the file should be 446kb, dated 4/2/03 in the stardock folder...refresh app.data in SDC
I think there're going to keep it in pre-release forever just so we have something to talk about
that is the wrong .dll file (that one is from the Object Desktop Folder). Re-install thru SDC and it will load correct .dll in Stardock folder
make note where file(s) is
do search for wblind.dll...it will give you the date modified
Jam ....what..no spirit of adventure
hey GG...what is the date of the wblind.dll file??
GG- I would try that first...the goal is to get all the files from the same verison loaded, so going thru SDC has as much chance as anything. Reinstalling CM I think will give you more headaches.
While GG tries to figure out if we have a clue what we're doing.....how's life going in the big city?
just read #10...GG, if you want, try reinstalling with SDC 1st and see if that works..
I don't know of any patch...ummmm...sounds like a cross file mismatch between versions...Jam probably is right. Uninstall and reload using CM since the mix up probably as to do with the SDC file. Hey, Jam <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrowser!"
are you using both SDC & CM ?
try refreshing data info in SDC
ok..back to #2
I think he means the previews...
got a popup-killer proggie running??
Thanks werewolf....must have been getting sleepy
