I heard the same thing, Jam. I have 2000 also and am perfectly happy with it. As far as Outlook, it just lets you use the whole Office Suite thru it. ahhhh....you need somehow (that's a help) to get rid of the Preview Pane and then only the message header will come up, even on startup. Wish I could be more help on this...

Angela is right...there has to be something in there that stops the preview pane. When you open OE Inbox does it open message auto??
