No Problem Karen. Just make sure to download the version from the store and not impulse because apparently impulse does not have the updated version of 7.3. This is what happens below when you hit translate instead of spell check in google toolbar. Once you do you cannot even delete it through the edit option. As I already said I installed the latest release of 7.3 and it is working fine for me. The problems this thread was about were with 7.2 but updating to 7.3 fixed those problems.

Yes Starcandy is correct DC. You would be better off downloading skins from here or the rainmeter group on deviant art. Never download a skin that has an .exe extension as the main installer unless you are 100% sure they are safe. Rainmeter skins for the most part are now packaged in the .rmskin extension. Some of the older skins are zip files which you extract and put in your skins folder. The problem has been that some idiots were uploading rainmeter exe files that were infected. I

Thanks starkers. have you installed the new 7.3 version just released? I did not install the previous 7.3 because off all the problems but I did install the new one and everything is working fine so far, even after reboots.

Unloading windowblinds worked for me or I should say temporarily worked. I have not rebooted yet which is when I noticed the problem occurred last time. Also starkers I have not installed the update. I am still using 7.2. I will do a reboot soon and let you know.

This just began to happen to me and it seems to be localized to this blind only. names have vanished in the start menu as well as the max button. I am hoping someone can shed some light on it.

OK I have not read every post to this topic but I read a lot and if I understand correctly the update from the store is causing some people problems. Seeing how I renewed my subscription after the sale I cannot use impulse so should I stay away from the store update? 7.2 is working fine for me and I would like to keep it that way. I have read your comments and I agree that I need a thicker skin but more then that I need to learn to not make decissions when i am pissed off. I still use gadgets from time to time starkers and it pisses me off that MS can just do whatever it wants with little regard for its customers. We are the ones who made MS wealthy. Yes Jim I understand that mycolor themes are exe files. The confusion came when I downloaded the koi suite because it was a suite file but I also knew it was a mycolors theme.
