I've heard about a Tivo feature maybe implemented with Xbox2. I forget though I don't know about you TC, but bring on the features. And a PC how? System Link which enables you to play over a LAN? An ethernet port to play online? Custom soundtracks during a game? A hard drive instead of constantly throwing out money for memory cards? Could you honestly say you wouldn't want these features?
If Nintendo wants to have any chance in the next gen. consoles race they will include the ability to play DVDs. Look at how cheap you can get them--you'll hardly be paying for one. You have a stand alone DVD player TC, and so do I and so do many others. But how many don't?? Fact is it will play a crucial part. Even by then many many more will have DVD players but you can still hook it up to any tv and have that ability. Xbox 2 and PS3 will have much more than a DVD player--the Xb
#34 by MontyXP - 12/8/2003 5:20:36 PM DJ did you say SuperBowl? No faith this year? Who would you put instead of us? We'll hold the #1 spot and continue the winning streak until we take everything.
#25 by Kona0197 - 12/7/2003 11:41:54 PM to bad they won't make it all the way. HA HA! Although I'm from philly, I'm feelin it this year. And 36-10 against the *ahem* #1 rated defense? We'll see
Football, Boxing and Baseball are my favorites. Hockey and Basketball are close seconds. From philly, and of course the Eagles are my team. It's all them today. Braves are my favorite Baseball team. I'm also big on pool.
I enjoy a whole lot of chocolate but *need* coffee in the morning. So coffee is a definite necessity but chocolate wins by far
Good lookin out Cyberjack.
I'm already a subscriber, but want to find out how much I got left (months). Where can I do this? After finding that out, I will resubscribe for another two years.
Would you happen to be using a skin where the restore/maximize images are the same? Perhaps it's already maximized and hitting it restores it? Cause you could open a new IE window with it automatically maximized.
Microsoft will be going with ATI this time around. They will also be working with IBM. Sound familiar? IBM is now involved in chip design for all three next-generation consoles.
Kona, from what I know there isn't anything solid. I mean, it's still subject to change. Expect it to be around 3GHz. And Microsoft wants to release Xbox2 side by side with the PS3.
I think everybody would take that same wish MrGupps Why limit yourself with anything else? And a bunch of use with the ability to do anything? I sense chaos [Message Edited]
I would say try to get both in the future (Xbox and PS2). Xbox is like $179 now. They're both great systems. Although PS2 has a much greater library, it's not like they're all above average/great games. Xbox in the future to me is definitely getting the better games; Half Life 2, Doom 3, Halo 2, BC, Splinter Cell 2 and Jade Empire among others. Then you got PGR2, Morrowind GOTY, Rainbow 6, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and KOTOR among many others. FFX-2 for PS2 is a great gam
Switch to the GDI+ Engine and see what happens...they'll go away
Also, AMD are now locking their processors: http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=244237
You should be very careful when overclocking, as you can cause damage. IF you can boot into Windows that doesn't necessarily mean your system is stable. You should be able to do it through BIOS or with older mothboards you have to change the jumpers. If you're interested, I would suggest you read up on it first and know what you're doing. Ummm, not sure if thats possible, especially on a laptop. #1: cooling and #2 hardware. Some motherboards and memory are better for overclocking.
Happy B-day! How old?
1280x1024 (15 vis) I'm getting a Radeon 9600 Pro soon with a nice 19inch CRT monitor though. I would go higher than 1024x768 but the low Hz rate hurts my eyes. [Message Edited]
Object Desktop is a suite in which Windowblinds, IconPackager, Window FX, Desktop X, etc. is available. You get updates for one year. Stardock Central is included; you use it to get these apps.
You make a good point goodmorphing that I may have overlooked. It is still unclear. It really is a nice skin nonetheless.
I'm with I.R. Brainiac's second comment: why upload an unfinished skin? Or should I say 'test' skin. I'm sure as hell not downloading it...with the possibility of screwing my pc up. Although I might not of used the same words, Bender50 and f0r3 are on point. Additionally, a 'test' skin checking out the new features of skinstudio with no intention of future updates. So we are the guinea pigs? As much as he is a potential skinner, if he is leaving because of those responses then so be it. I
1024 X 768. When I get a monitor that can do 85 Hertz or above with a resolution higher than 1024 X 768, I'll do that. Probably 1152 x 864 or 1280x960.
