Essencay♣, I purchased it on the 25th. How long did you have to wait for the CD to arrive?
Like I said in the email I just sent, I ordered the 'Network Edition' and am now receiving the CD. Haven't got it yet--I have no idea when this thing will be here and chances are nobody will be home. There is no way to track it? [Message Edited]
#12 by yrag - 12/28/2003 3:52:51 PM Are you able to log into WC site? Are you talking about Wincustomize? Or WC browser? Yes with both. Thank you for both of your help-- it is much appreciated. I will try tomorrow to see if anyone is available.
For someone who did order a cd, is there a way to track it? Damn this sucks.
I made sure I hit 'network edition' when purchasing. This thing is being mailed to me? The first email says: Product Name : Object Desktop 2002 [CD] User Name : ****** Email : ***** Serial Number : [Being Shipped from Stardock]
When I use my hotmail account, I get the same email with: =--------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- Stardock.net Accounts ---- Name : ***** Email : ***** Password : ***** -------------------------------- Product Name : WinCustomize Subscription User Name : ***** Download : http://storage.stardock.com/files/WinCustomizeBrowser120__enhanced.exe Download : http://storage.stardoc
Gary, I cross referenced and requested the serial again using both accounts and still got the same two emails. Randy, yeah, I get the support links and whatnot but thats it. Here it is: Hello, This email contains the serial numbers (sometimes referred to as Registration Codes) for all the products that you have ordered from the email address below. Your name and serial number for the products below must be entered EXACTLY as indicated for each product (ca
Yes. I put in both email accounts--my hotmail only gives me my Wincustomize serial and with the Comcast it says it is included in the email but there is nothing. [Message Edited]
When you purchase Object Desktop and get the email with the txt file, the Order ID is not the serial number correct? Everytime I request the serial number (with my Comcast account which I purchased Object Desktop with)it says the serial number will be included but is not (only got the txt file that first time). I tried my hotmail account which I use for this site and that only gives me a serial number for my Wincustomize subscription. For the love of my life I cannot validate my OD su
Feel like filling me in on what happened?
I was just about to ask this...I get stuck on 20--something items remaining then they just come up as Xs. I would imagine there is work being done.
Yeah, Stefan never personally said anything to me. And I wasn't trying to call out whoever moderated it. I'm no graphic artist, but I just thought it was a very nice wall.
My fault Jafo, just inquiring.
Happy B-day! You should be drunk already Enjoy. [Message Edited]

All unregistered users are immediately directed to a "SIGN ON" page on arrival at the site where they are given the following options:- I think that may be more annoying. Coming to a site and immediately being asked to register--lets not forget new users whom should have a chance to see
#315 by Mr HG_Eliminator - 12/11/2003 11:37:36 PM i think the level of user should determine the amount of skins per day and the quality of skins available ...non reg get didly. level 1 get a 8 meg cap per day..and a small % of level 8 and up skins they can download. level 2 get 16 meg cap and a lil bit higher % of the level 8 and up skins to dl.. <
Maybe someone buying Object Desktop could also get a Wincustomize subscription at the same time for a small discount--like $15 or $17? Just an idea. [Message Edited]

But about the 10meg limit--I'm for dropping the 50meg limit, but 10 may be too small. For instance some wallpapers and sysmetrix skins amon
Just like some forums where you can't access them until you register, maybe you can't download here until you register. You can see whats here, and if you want to download an account is necessary. [Message Edited]

With DX9, Nvidia was blown away in every single test. I believe the 9600XT even beat out the 5900. Nvidia kept claiming 'wait till new drivers', but that only gave a few more

So what happens if we fall a little short? Like 470 or a bit above that?
Nintendo is using their own brand of mini-DVD's which hold up to 1.7GB of data while Xbox I believe has a capacity of 8.5GB and PS2 4.7.
