@Whiskey: Ah, but that was by Gabriel Angelos, who is in fact the Chuck Norris of Dawn of War, and therefore doesn't count. Finally, Sindri isn't necessarily dead, as Eliphas exploded at the end of Dark Crusade, but then got given a new body for Chaos Rising. Why shouldn't the same happen for Sindri? Wow... reading that paragraph, I realise how sad I am...

Which leads me to Modern Warfare 2. They ended up with a 18 due to one level when the rest of the game would have been a 16. However, upon realising that it would have to be an 18, why didn't they either: a) remove the airport scene to make it a 16, or b) up the realism/goriness or whatever to make the game a proper 18, rather than what is effectively an 18-rated 16. Just my thoughts, even though I hardly ever played mw2 anyway...

I think that the most interesting theory is that the world won't end, but will change. Apparently humanity will have some great big mass spiritual enlightenment and we'll stop killing each other, start being fair with resources, etc. None of it's going to happen, of course, because it's just a calendar changing. One day, an incredibly short-lived future race will, roughly every four weeks, believe that the world will end because the old calendars have to go to the next page.

Just for the record, I find that ff is slightly faster than ie, and it does get round the problem of ie throwing a strop when a thread has a copy and pasted word document in it.

You could check out the Distant Stars mod. It puts new effects on all the planets. Only one does damage though, and that's the one for white dwarf stars, I think. It could help.
