You should go read this before making another comment: http://baens-universe.com/articles/McCauley_copyright Read it, a few points: 1) McCauley disagrees with you: he says on numerous occasions in the speech that he accepts the need for copyright. He is arguing against extending literary copyright significantly beyond the death of the author. Th

Frogboy's comment seemed pretty ominous to me: It's really hard to take people serious who don't realize that Stardock isn't the developer of the game. And btw, GPG did an amazing job with Oculus and he's free. I can say though this is the free content Demigod is likely to get. No one wants to deal with the community when it comes to new releases. It's a good group online but in the forums, good gri

UK amazon retailers seem to have done a brisk trade of demigod this month (e.g. saying they had only a few left and then cancelling my order!), but I reckon the only ways it is going to hit critical mass are: 1) Re-visits by gaming magazines / sites. 2) Being marketed as a good value budget game by retailers. Stardock, that's a bit harsh Completely agree - but I guess the community reaction was a bit over the top - I guess the feeling is that any new add ons are going to be more trouble than they are worth......

Hi All I might be a real raw noob (game arrived in the post today), but after seeing comments from Istari A lot of melodrama over very little. As others have pointed out, the new release hasn't been announced yet. A few tech-savvy users looking through the history notes figured out the mechanism. The announcement and store link were scheduled to go up today but the plan has changed to simply add it

Hi All I might be a real raw noob (game arrived in the post today), but after seeing comments from Istari (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/373673/page/3) and Frogboy (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/373670/page/3) about the recent update abuse on the forums, it sounds like they've had enough of being criticsed..........so no more new maps or characters? Hope all the trolls are happy now [e digicons]X([/e] .
