Yes, the smaller map and/or less teams will help. Its due to how many models are spawned in the game. I turn off auto save. Save when you choose.

Well Emplear, maybe you can explain to us how your playing. I did not buy Sins of a Pirate Empire, because it seems either all my money goes to pay them or they are attacking me. The hole game was pirates, pirates, pirates.

I actually separate fleet them as well as my carriers. Groups I use a lot on planet choke points or SBs, a couple for main cap ship in fleet. This way I can quickly jump around the map.

Forum is working great. Thank you. [e digicons][/e] I do use cells and tables a lot so please try and keep them in.
This mod will be used by more single players than multi-players, sorry to say. I would love the pirates to be toned down in this as well.
Most peoples single player games have pirates off as well. Been a complaint since the release. Maybe this idea can be incorporated into the Project Equilibrium . [Released] Diplomacy Pirate Strength Mod » Forum Post by Teal_Blue
Thanks myfist0, didn't even know about that....your links should make things a lot easier
The Weebly is brand new. I got tired of the forum booms trying to edit pages so I first started using a friends web space then moved to the weebly free hosting. File sizes are up to 10mb I think. I will try and keep up on mirroring for you and feel free to put the link in the main post.
What do you do when that red engine light turns on in your car? Take out the bulb. [e digicons];)[/e] Just a little levity. [e digicons][/e] I am not sure whats going on but my shortcut to recent most times dont go but if I click on a favorite post I'm in and can go to recent once I'm in. But the posts seem to be going in better. No more booms since the update.
oops double post
They have a sticky for that in the technical forum I think
Get this almost every time.
I play huge multi-star maps with 10 players FFA. Half players hard and half on cruel. Anything above hard will increase A.I. research and income speeds. Even playing on normal with a bigger map should work. You just need the time for player fleets to build up in size. The trade off is late game lag which a lot can be fixed with the Optimization Project Mod.
