You want to use the Dev exes not developer. Not sure how you got those. You can try to delete them and then validate your install with impulse or just leave them and create shortcuts to the Devs.

When you select a group of ships, 1 will have a slightly whiter box, thats the flag ship. Use tab to cycle through until you are on the one you want. I think shift + tab cycle backwards or ctrl + tab not sure.

The sins map updater page is out of date. Harpo has put the new version of the map updater in his updating package found here . I have not used it though. Ask any questions about those tools on that thread.
it is in the modding utilities 1.19 on <a href="http://www.filefro
You can try validating the install with Impulse or start the game with the Dev.exe and it should give you an error report. Support at https://www.stardock.com/support/ or email at
looks good [e digicons][/e]
That map is to old and needs updating. I looked into it and it's a bit of a hassle for 1 map. Try placing the maps from that map pack into the GalaxyForge folder and test it out in game. Lots of good maps made by the community. Maps placed in C:\Documents and Settings\' user name '\ Local Settings\Application Data \Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge are loaded from the Galaxy Forge Section of the Maps Selector <img src="http://img94

Replacing a HD might reset the bios settings. Long time since I looked at the bios (WIN98) but I am pretty sure there was an option for the HD to sleep or not. Mine never sleep. On 24/7 accept for the damn brownouts.
I think the last patch only fixed desync so it will work for Org trinity and a minor pirate thing. Everything in that mod should be compatible. What version are you at BTW? I would try it. Mostly reduces model poly count and texture sizes.
Can you please put the files together for just the map updater and update the main post. I usually read the main and download from main and read posts if there is a problem. Now I have to do everything over again. :( not worth it. I also had sins installed on anther hd and reinstalled on c after i made room. It wants the old dir so i had to copy the game there to get this to work and i updated the target to my version so i got it to run but I would rather be able to pic my d
