It would be best if that feature was able to download & install the latest Fences 2.x upgrade. But even a notice: "You have the latest version of Fences!" or a notice saying "There is a newer version available, please go to ... to download it" would be better than the current lack of this feature. Thanks!

1) I would like to have 2/3+ monitor support for the Pages feature, in such a way that the new desktop is not completely empty, but moves my second monitor icons to the main monitor when dragging left, and moves my main monitor icons to 2nd monitor when dragging right. Or, maybe make that an option in the Settings. It would be a great addition for any users with 2/3+ monitors. Actually, I expected Pages to work that way by default (but it does not). 2) "Check for updates

Hope this helps someone else.
Yes, maybe if you used the forum search, you would see that is how it works - you uninstall Fences 1.x, but tell it NOT to remove the Fences and settings, and this will preserve them when you install Fences 2.x.

That was my favorite until XP came along. Didn't play much in Vista though. Notice how the even numbers do not favor Microstuff!
Nope, Windows 98 and 2000 were both good. Yeah, WinME was a crashfest, although I used it for maybe 1-2 years. WinME was the first Windows OS with System Restore, though.<br
Quoting nakibest, reply 5As opposed to what? You expect it to be a bug, or what? Huh?
Well, at least allow us to make the size of a Fence zero icons manually, then! Now, you can only have at least ONE icon, you can't shrink past that number. EDIT: Off-topic - What kind of a stupid thumbs-down forum emoticon is this!? Looks like someone with a gun. :)

What happens when you try to uninstall Fences 1.x?? This is what you should do - uninstall the old one first, then install the new one. You should get TWO prompts when uninstalling the old Fences app - do you want to uninstall Fences, choose Yes. Then another prompt should appear, I now don't remember clearly, but it should say: Do you want to keep your fences and settings (if this is it, choose YES). Or maybe Do you want to delete

No, I agree with this suggestion, I do NOT want to hide anything, just minimize, so that only the Fence title remains. Hiding hides all. We want to be able to have the Fence name(s) stay! EDIT: The Windows 3.x Program Manager (which Fences resembles very much) had this, so why not Fences too? Please add this!!

NO, you do not need to take any screenshots. When you uninstall Fences 1.x Pro, you get an option to delete your current Fences + settings, choose NO. This should keep the settings + Fences for the 2.0 version to use. It worked for me - I asked the same question a few weeks ago. :) EDIT: What certificate problem? What Windows OS are you on - XP, Vista, 7, 8/etc?

I also have 2 monitors, but my secondary monitor is on the right. I thought that Windows does this, and not Fences? Does Fences do this for you even if there is plenty of space left on the main monitor? My main monitor is full of icons, so I kind of thought this may be happening, because it main monitor is full, thus new icons go to the 2nd monitor. But now, not so sure this is how it should be...
