I feel your pain. Went in the military right as computers came out. Unity will probably have the most utility if you decide to grind on through. Cool link on the proggie and good luck there.
I wish physical injury could impact your flying.
Sort of an, "It's just a flesh wound!" sort of thing. ;)
I want to have a reign of error.
I have seen nothing but polite and cool things from this guy. So impressed.

If you kill a hydra is it de-hydrated?
I think the only real impetus to change is to bring back a form of genuine character death. It would focus designs sharply on consequences before they created "fantastic abilities" and it would turn the end game dilemma on its head again. If a low level and a high level mage could each be killed by a single bullet when careless it would foster cooperative play, genuine alliances and betrayals and really put people in the story. I don't think gimmicks and layered pe

Nice work! Added to the Modders' Get an Answer thread and looking forward to seeing more.
As long as game designers keep walking the same conceptual paths right into the pit that every game before them has dug the problem will never end. What is really missing is originality in concepts. I love SoaSE specifically for the disparate and asymmetrical type of abilities (which can be likened to spells and magic). Few developers are willing to spend the time to not just layer in things but thread them together so they can produce original outcomes. Where&
