I watch that show and that is an awesome spot there! It's a CTC show but airs on the US Syfy network now.
He has specifically mentioned trading and combat. Open universe is the other mantra he has. The rest we will see.

They did a good job here for a $5 product.
For $5 it is a pretty darn good deal. They gave away a lot of unique creative potential by allowing modding in the game by players--there has to be some overlaps. But the DLC here isn't just "what modders have already done". It includes stability improvements, bug fixes, play balance new hard-coded conditions, new textures and also is still being polished for additional tweaks. The big thing is it does all of these things and is official--therefore universal-
