Yeah--that is a possibility--those things. I know how it was done with making the pirates attack. I need a set of pirates in the game that aren't affected by the pacts so that they will attack everyone at all times but they are a minority to the regular pirates that i would want to retain so as to not screw TEC.
Just pm someone in the company and ask. If they give you permission, problem solved.
I actually have a story board for a Sins-inspired book (not an actual "Sins book") and I have pondered using the "Vasari" in it just as a nod.

Actual question by me...is it possible to make a pirate race that is NOT affected by TECs rogue treaties and pirate pacts and have it work in tandem with "normal" pirates? I'd like to have both.

Twilight Sparkle is best served well done after being tenderized and sliced then cooked over a hot open flame. Serves four to six persons and is well complimented by greens and white wine. Rather than discarding the head or using it for soup/stew stock, it can instead be stuffed and mounted tastefully on a dining room wall

I just donated my MakerBot Cupcake CNC to our local high school engineering class. It was first generation and I failed to make a single print with it after playing with it for a year. The amount of fixes, tweaking, tuning, modifications and technical knowledge/intuition needed to "just use it" made it really impractical for me. A few days ago I got my 3rd generation Solidoodle printer. I spent quite some time reading through forums posts on it befo

It should be simple--people who cold bloodily, with malice and forethought and through means intended to inflict great personal suffering and death on innocent people should get a death penalty. You can weep and mourn for them, pray for their souls and have empathy and compassion but that should be the consequence. Our problem is wanting a society where no consequences are imposed but we just "imagine the best". How's that working so far for ya'll?</p

I have several programmer friends and it's a real accomplishment for a single person to produce something like this. Looks better every time he updates.

BTW guy who had planned to rendezvous in game last week. I lost the net for a week there. Had a defective power adapter on my line amplifier to the cable. The light was on but no one was home. Just got my net back late Saturday. ...and I was almost completely through withdrawal. Oh well, back to addiction. :)

Personally I really LOVE shadows. Good shadowing takes a game out of 2D and really brings it into 3D. Hardcore speed players might turn them off but in games where graphics are prominent they are awesome. Just my opinion. I though the shadows in Rebellion were a great touch. And regarding player opinions...

I still read the forums. Do not force my great and terrible return to posting. And if you rotate those symbols 90 degrees to the right you will have a much better chance of decoding what alphanumeric values they actually represent. But that's the only help I am giving and that only because its a holiday.

Governments are a check to destructive individual/corporate greed, citizens are a check to government power. Unfortunately, when one of these groups identifies itself as part of the other, the checks are eliminated. If business runs government--bad. If people yield full decision making authority to government--bad. The only real "system" that promises to "fix" inequality is communist socialism and it proposes the fix by giving the power of all government and

I have seen three YouTube videos in the past few weeks that were song dedications in memoriam for the posters' departed spouse or child. On each post there was one and on one, several, replies that questioned the "truthfulness" of the the OP and degenerated to insults directed at them over a long period of time--in one case going on for six months. This goes beyond, "bad behavior" and reflects a high level of social dysfunction. Kids today demand that they be "toug
