Worthy of a salute, sir. Salute!
Sinperium
In space, no one can hear ice scream.
I'll consider that a bump...
ManSh000000terrrr!
Yeah--actually, if ya want you can hop right in...not that there is a lot to do at the moment. I actually hate clans and always play as an indie--usually a smuggler/trade runner. Time constraints, RL, etc. I have had some things happen a couple of times in the past that got me to form two groups on two different servers--and it went well--so I am pretty sure I can get it going once the game is running. So I was on the forums for Star Citizen and saw the same s
P.S. I shamelessly clicked your link and am shamelessly looking at your site.
And I will shamelessly match with my own future association (not a guild/clan) banner for a site I am twiddling on--slowly as usual.
Curse you Major... CURSE YOOOOOOOU!
A necro post, duplicating the OP as a new topic. Excellent!
I actually had no problem liking this ship. Make a few models--they never turn out fully like you imagine. And I love the Firefly look of it too. And yes Boshimi, it is mine...all mine. If anyone wants to find my shameless ranting on the Roberts forum I have the same name there. ;) BTW--am I the only one now tempted to take the Hornet and Freelancer, model them in Sins and then post video on the Roberts forum of them "in action"? <p
I...do...not...know. Have to see how it all works. Nice models taken from the game engine. More on the link up there.
At last! Images of MY ship! More here... http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/friday-updates-freelancer-citizen-cards-and-interviews/
Done.
Chris has got interviews up on M achinma, IGN and a couple of other places this week but I wanted specifically to post the FAQ one of the forum members did about Star Citizen . If you had any questions he's answered a ton of them. The link is here .
This guy has done something inexpensively and originally that has broader applications than just his actual game. Licensing is good money.
Sinperium had grand kids over and then has a sick wife tonight. I may be able to squeeze on tomorrow.
I'll possibly be able to hop on tomorrow.
One expert said before the reveal that they were concerned about methane gas from decaying bacteria having been trapped inside small atmospheric pockets left in the rover and went on to say this was the most likely explanation.
Sui Generis made it with 10k to spare. Awesome. The developer was actually featured with his game engine in Forbes Magazine . One I just randomly saw is a board game(!) blast from the past classic-- Ogre , by Steve Jackson Games . Steve had planned on hand creating 3,000 board game copies and decided to try Kickstarter so they could up production a little and have some back stock.
In the pledge drive, citizenship cards were offered as an incentive to donate. they are "memorabilia" only. I do think I heard Chris mention the very highest level card might have stations in game that only those card holders could dock (but I may be mis-remembering that just as easily). Here is an official poll from a month back o( http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/poll-who-will-you-b
Yep--he is onto something. I'd also say the physics in the Sui Generis game are beathtakingly exciting. It's not my genre but I'd consider playing it for that along--also a one-man conceived and coded engine.
I've always stuck up for girls in games--even when they were a "quaint anomaly". Things have gotten better but what has gotten worse is the acceptance more and more of juvenile (and mostly male juvenile) stupidity in online discussions. On YouTube yesterday I read posts by someone trolling a memorial thread posted by a woman whose husband had died a year before.
More models!
Here is an update on insurance in Star Citizen .
