Some UI elements such as the refresh button in file explorer aren't being skinned, I checked in Skin Studio and my skins do provide these elements, but for whatever reason they aren't being skinned. I tried a bunch of different things to make it work, until eventually I found that setting my Windows scaling setting to 100% suddenly made everything work. Problem is, I use a massive TV as my monitor, I've got no other choice but to use 200% scaling. Anybody know how

Its been a while since I have been on my pc. Been playing my Nintendo switch like crazy the last month or so. Tons of zelda action. lol
That is how its designed in that theme. The windows 11 caption section is used for file explorer. The developer of that theme designed it so that the tabs are easy to read under windows 11 systems. If you are looking for a more accurate windows 7 classic style, try my Aero11 classic substyle option. <a href="https://www.wincustomiz

Im sticking with Dopamine music player and Plex. A far better option for my media content. lol The new winamp reminds me of the leaked previews of windows 12. Theme looks clean! Start using that build high dpi button! We need more themes in the gallery that support greater windows scales above 100%. This is what I have been doing with my aero11 theme. It will be worth it in the end cause more people will be able to enjoy your theme more. Currently they look very blurry on 125%, 150%, 175% etc... Good luck!
There has been a bug in start11 for quite some time with the right click menus. It's super noticeable under the windows 10 mode menu. When right clicking, the menu will freeze and not respond. It happens quite often. It did it on my windows 10 machines and my windows 11 machine. Can this be looked at. Thanks!
Start 11 has stopped launching on Windows startup. If I shut down or have to reboot for any reason, once it’s back up and running, Start 11 will not launch until I manually launch it. There is no option to “start when Windows starts”
Reinstall start11. It installs a service that manages the startup and other things. It sounds like something bugged it out.
This was posted in the other thread. It seems since RC1 WB 11.02, the Win11 tabbed area BG is also displayed in the control panel section. This was not present in WB 11.01. Its present in this version of WB11 as well. The control panel should be painting with the topglass area rather than win11 tabbed area. Its visible on both Windows 10/11.
That normal. They cant change it since its hard-coded by Microsoft. Its why you dont see left/right taskbar options as well since its not codded under windows 11.
Hallo, is it normal that the "calendar pop up" stays at the bottom even if I selected that the taskbar should be on the uper edge?
Higher DPI above 100% causes some wonkyness with all theme elements. When using higher DPI, any images that have sizing margins should stretch like how they do with the default windows ones. various controls, frames etc... all look super blurry. I should not need to provide Higher DPI images for them. Can you guys look into this issue. Thank! :D
Working on the next version of Aero11, some changes I have done so far... Higher DPI supported for more buttons up to 125% scale now... <img style="width: 10px; height: 10px;" src="https://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/bulletblue.gif" alt="Bullet; Blue" data-embed-id="211

It's due to how Microsoft rebuilt the taskbar compared to windows 10. Start11 has stuff in it to reimplement some of the
For me it just is cut off. I do not have any missing start button issues.
Unfortunately, that feature is hidden and not easily found on paint.net or it simply isn't there. In the past, I played around with GIMP, but I wasn't able to feel comfortable with it, like I am with paint.net. I might have to reconsider that idea, and give GIMP another try. It did occur to me that perhaps part of the problem is having two copies of the same file in the same place, the original, as well as a modified one. Maybe not, but
Issue, just a matter of taste, I think. Here how it looks and my favorite Classic.
Thats not a WB11 issue. That skin has text glow in the titlebars. If you dont like that, you will need to modify it in skin studio.
When you disable taskbar button animations in start11 1.42 it breaks the hover effect on the buttons. Only the active button gets the glow effect. When you turn it on, the glow effect works on all buttons like normal. OS Windows 11
**EDIT** Going through and renaming the files.. This is gonna take a while.... lol ******** Any chance we could get a file name size increase? I have my images named based on the substyle/color and that adding to the theme name causes some elements to not load unless the name gets short... Or possibly add in a tool in skin studio to mass rename the images/when saving a theme, rename them possibly. <img src="https://cdn.star

I guess the best thing to do would be too do what basj recommends in Reply #6.
or gimp. gimp worked well for me back then when I had no money for a paint app. I used paint.net as well. I think its just the way he saved the png/bmp files.
Start button still seems to be cut on even with enhanced taskbar enabled in start11. Also, the caption buttons in file explorer dont display the glow images properly. They flicker for a second but then vanish. Works fine in other windows. &
Updated to latest start11 beta/wb11 rc1. Start button still being cut off on many skins under windows 11.
Perfect. Fix the topglass/taskbar progressbar issues as of now. However I noticed the taskbar clock on secondary displays does not paint properly on small icons still and at time the main taskbar start button area has glitches that goes away if I change the taskbar size. Also using beta start11.
