Here is an update on the issue. In the video I have just posted, I showed installing start11/Windowblind11/skinstudio11 on a freshly installed windows OS. No other applications actually installed. When I open the start menu and circle the reboot button I actually click it after I stop the recording and it just continues from there via video editing.
I believe it has been mentioned before that Windows 11 will move to 48x48 pixel Start button. So, its up to us to go on with that restriction or revert to old Windows. For me, I am still on Windows 10 as my main system. But, I need to have Windows 11 system on VM to test thing out. For Support and for Windowblinds testing. Need to cover as many user as possible. I remember designing Winamp skin back in the old days, we only have very limited spac
Not sure, but this may fix some of the issues. Neil's working on a fix that'll come hopefully this week. https://forums.stardock.com/517220/page/1/#3880311
I already had that installed. Never had any of the issues everyone was having. Just the new limitations. Back on windows 10 as we speak.
Just wanted to give other skinners a heads up. As of Moments Update 2. The start button can no longer be larger than 48x48. It will be cut off as of this update. Along with the changes the notification tray arrow is no longer skinnable. Its just a generic arrow now to match the rest of the icon hover effects. So keep this in mind when creating themes for windows 11 support. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/e6110a38-bc75-4d89-a458-a6269d5c3989.png" alt="" width="6
This has been driving me mad for a while, glad I'm not alone. If I use WinAeroTweaker and revert to Classic Taskbar the clock font changes, but file explorer will not open, so there must be some explorer/taskbar code changes in Windows 11. Just to reiterate. The top glass area does not load with certain transparent colors (seems to be darker ones) on both windows 10/11 systems and reverts to loading a toolbar background for it (7 for 10 exclusive does the same from the gallery). I implemented the topglass light area into the theme which does load on that area but with major graphical glitches to the acrylic blur background. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/7cdc5632-1a8c-4ca1-9984-9bdd2674fbda.jpg"
I though you said Windows 10 and Windows 11. I don't see the issue on Windows 11. But Windows 10 might be something else. However, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience. Here is the same issue on a fresh windows 10 VM. You can even see the topglass is defined in skin studio but if you look at the open dialog on notepad its not loading (its loading the toolbars background from rebar controls)

I seem to be having a problem loading certain images in the top glass area under windowblinds11. It affects both windows 10/11 systems. You can reproduce this exact issue on any theme with darker images. To reproduce the issue, make a copy of any theme (I used diamond) and import any of the images listed below that cause issues and it will break the glass area. <a href="https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1Oxswp3L-VG0ClGif36rWP6iMqMB0fvdt"
I second this, would be cool to have an additional menu option to choose from. Tie it in to windowblinds as well to be skinnable. Would be a nice feature.
As You can see here, WB still has problems with tabbed explorer. Same here.
yeah they need to add images to the tabbed frames and also modify the topglasswin11 areas to get them to look right under windows 11. I just think most people here are still on windows 10. With enough time and effort, they could easily blend the windows 11 tabs into their themes. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/foru

Its been nearly 14+ years now since it has been talked about. Is fences ever going to be skinnable via windowblinds or through its own gallery? The was a feature being talked about during the early beta days of Fences 2 but never came to be. Skinning Fences (2009)
I would also like to have an option for themes to leave my Windows background color alone -- even if the end-user has to modify the theme to accomplish that, e.g., by setting the background color for the theme to "null", "indie", "please just leave it alone", or whatever. Alternatively, if it's easier coding-wise to stick with the current color-selection popup, please add a color-picker widget so that the end-user can select the backgr
For me it was objectdock. Was such a useful application back in the early days. I had many shortcuts to applications and folders on hand without taking up valuable space on the taskbar. Sad that it has not gotten the treatment like all the other apps recently. Its tabbed dock feature was super unique and to this day beats the winstep dock by a mile in terms of use for me. It did not feel clunky and just worked. Would love to see a W11 update to it even if you have to scrap some of the docklet
