That is a lot of work plus being the bottom man at his job he gets all the crappy jobs/time shifts.
Congratulations to Carbon! As for your boss, what form of foul play should I send his way?
With the empire tree, I know that a fleet will enter a gravity well and it shows everything in the gravity well with that fleet. But that's when I hit the little arrow next to the planet image. It draws up all the icons of stuff in orbit. Meanwhile, my fleet has their own icon which I keep expanded out for micromanagement. So if you contract each planetary branch as you come across them, your empire tree never gets too far past the height
YAY! updates! I love them....unless you're from AMD, then you can go bite a stick of rat-poison. But for anything NOT AMD yay! update =3 (has serious hate issues with the AMD programming and administrative staff)
true, but I'm lazy, I throw about 3-6 mine layers/anima controllers there and auto-cast them while I do other things lol. The minelayers are somewhat annoying since they"auto return to position" each time they set mines, around a sun that takes forever. think you could modify the ability to "move to position with ability use" or something to that effect? as it stands, minelayers require micromanagement ~_~ and for the empire tree, I only pin my cap ships ;p, but when they're p
I hope they make mines an optional thing for the empire tree with rebellion. Most I can do is get them to stack in piles of 50, but that long bar of"total crap in this gravity well" still sticks out half the screen when you have 500 of the little buggers floating around a sun(traveling to new, uncharted systems is dangerous ;p side note: skipped geography and stayed in bed, felt like I was on the verge of hurling all morning....too much itallian food not enough anti-acids [e digicons]x
@blobness: Fine! I'll go to bed...stupid rocks and math...summer classes suck ~_~ and are condensed....got 2 tests a week.... @Drakkjacht: what I do in my head and bedroom are different from my day to day interaction with sexy college girls ;p Nyahahahahahaha it's good to be in college. >=3 and now, I shall pass out and sleep now that I'm done filtering through more discographies and music files ;p hmm.... reminds me, got a date Wednesday >.>
I know, I usually have wormholes and everything connected by phase-lanes as well, it's just usually the "scenic route" is a huge maze of clouds and rocks and useless empty space only worth sticking a starbase in. Wormholes are more of a "express lane" in my maps =3 let the enemy blink through the wormholes and keep it defended while you have a massive fleet creeping through the giant maze to pop out somewhere in their systems >=3 on the down side, stacking too much and maki

Like the original Dawn of the Dead, a mixture of horror and hilarity.
Saw that one too, I wonder how much they got paid to dress up like zombies and stick their arms through holes in the wall ;p Gotta say I'm jealous. Get paid to run around actin like a loony chasin sexy actors and actresses all day. Edit: I'll admit it, I'm not above sneaking a grope in [e digi
It's a good"lets get wasted and laugh at it" movie when you're a teenager =3 Munchies are a hazard!>=O fat sneaks up on you! Anyway, I'm lean sexy now(yay diet and exercise! the forgotten method to losing weight). ego boost aside, I'm kinda craveing pizza now that you mentioned it....*stares at the $20 in wallet*.......must resist.....budget's too tight....................k..my cheapness won over my taste-buds >=O Should probably sl
I watched the blob o.o I wanted strawberry jam that time too.............I wish I had strawberry jam and bread now, i could go for some yummy toast with jam [e digicons]:hugme:[/e]

@IsKatuMesk : The first model...I want it lol....gimmie The second i feel as though it may transform, parts move, open up a large super weapon at any moment @ZombieRus5 : just to be funny, you should slap a McDonalds logo in there on one of the buildings like a billboard or something, everyone will laugh and think" yeah, they'll prob
it's a damn shame too. Would be fun to have maybe 10 wormholes in one map and no matter what one ya fly into it'll randomly spit you out wherever it pleases. Alas, it's like this(I think) because of the trade system(impossible by design for functionality purposes and such) don't fret though, just stick enough wormholes in one central area pointing out to different ones, you can even "stack" them in the map editor so as to make something of a "wormhole column", I do it with neb
love the orbital colony Zombie, the floor looks kinda lonely though, maybe some "light lines" along the floor for streets or the such. Still love it though, and would love to have it implemented lol. maybe a second type of starbase the TEC could build? Get something like that for the other two races as well? =3 except Vasari...
Ahhhh that sounds to nice, I'll be able to implement a few old ideas into some maps I had to give up on as a result, any way you could give a file name to where we can add a specific research to the pirate's list? say wormholes, Synergy, phase interference immunity?(setting choke-points outside the pirate bases is handy, but not if you're actually trying to use them...)
Hmm Goa, this post brought up an interesting idea though I'm sure there's going to be ways to shoot this down. What if, as far as all the complaining is concerned, they released Rebellion as a stand alone version of the Sins saga and incorporated -64bit into it? (typing this I already see there would be financial losses from this choice, problems with distribution costs/methods, consumer's preference and or system limitations, and much more work involved on the project they probab
lol Now you're just gettin lazy Sin, clicking with a mouse getting too hard? ;p But that would be hell on the cpu lol Anyway I agree with the optional settings for the show/hide craft/structure idea. But there is also a small issue with it. To select a specific group of ships to attack a specific structure or group of structures you would need to toggle the settings. Most likely it would also require the startup of a second "empire tree page" or some sort of tab on t
hmm, I see your point on that then, maybe something capture-able with the planet then that can target own and ally owned planets instead, this way it only builds a personal network and not an expedited strike-way wo wherever you feel like. they could only go to places the deciphered the locations of in the lore, right? I think this way might work a bit better. and they did eventually figure out how to build them(be it small and not massive) given time i'm sure they would have been able to
no problems, and maybe bright blue, green and red are a tad offensive on the eyes ^^; I'll switch them out for some earthy tones in a sec lol EDIT: Recoloring completed, now with 70% less eyestrain than previous version!! it it now 2.0 ;O "SHH! don't speak ill of him!! he may appear behind you!!" "who?" "Bucky O' Hare, Scourge of the toads" "ugh.....you were drinking toner
Hi, I don't play your mod, but we were throwing ideas around and one came out that you might find useful, not sure you haven't already used it. Giving a gate a "superweapon" type status and the weapon targeting other planets with another gate. Set the "attack" to instant, damage 0 and it's recharge to something realistic for the lore/and about the same , if not exactly, the duration of the effect on the target. Having it target like a superweapon Will cause it to turn this way and
God Speed Major >=O *salutes* anyway it isn't anything big lol just removes the galaxy that spawns int he background at the start and gets rid of the animated logos at the start. Oh, and you can change the stacking from 10 for things like strikecraft/mines/anything, I set mine to 50, nice round number at "necessity" not too high and just low enough to where the empire tree isn't a mad house even when collapsed
True, i suppose it would make more sense to have set exits to gate like that, easier to implement that way too. But hey, there's an idea for the stargate guys and their mod lol. Think changing the wormhole mesh into a gate of some kind would work then? Wormholes do have a rotation though you can't really see it*wonders if removing that rotation could save a slight bit of memory in-case there's "faces" to a wormhole* Though you may have to throw the particle on it's si
I did try the exhaust update false, does nothing, I answered it in some other thread, think it was DS lol I edited my post. But yeah, tried a few things and there was no change, kinda disappointed. I think the GS section has to do with that first generated "galaxy" for the menu background, the first option in the list of them gets rid of any animation/planets/moving behind the UI completely, all you get is the star background
would be nice if you could select the destination in -game but I know that's kind of an impossibility, unless you make it a super weapon with instant effect, specific targets(same type other than self) and give it a realistic cool-down maybe a planetary ability. dunno, I just spitball ideas around and they land here lol but it doesn't have to be something super-massive or over complicated, you could just replace one of the planet types you already added, throw in an ability, 0 upgrade
