I was using Fences version 2 on Win 7. After the upgrade to Win 10, I had the same problem with the inability to move any icons. Uninstalling Fences fixed it. I think a refund is due or fix it!
So I've got this little red thingie on my desktop that says "Wincustomize WindowBlinds Gallery page". How do I get rid of it?
OK, I noticed that the gallery is customizable. I like that. I'm getting to be OK with the site.
I absolutely hate it. Oh, I like the look, but it was so darn convenient to click a category on the left and I'm there. Now, I can't find anything with less than a handful of clicks. Blech.
I have a new laptop with Dou Core 2 processors and a 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS graphics card. I loaded WB5.1 through Stardock Central and everything appeared fine. I loaded the StealthOS skin. As notification icons in the tasktray changed and the hidden icons became unhidden, the taskbar would not refresh, sometimes causing graphics to overlay themselves. I finally had to unload WB. Any suggestions?

What really drives me nuts about this is that it used to work. I don't remember if the installation of McAfee was before or after this problem accurred. So are we saying that Admin users on XP are different than the Administrator account and that is the problem? Can someone post a basic on changing permissions in XP Home? As the title states, ALL Stardock programs that are installed via Stardock Central only work for the user (WinXP) that installs it. For all other users (all admin privileges), nothing happens when 'run' is selected. Going to the Stardock folder and manually selecting a program, I get this error "Windows cannot access the specific device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item". This access problem seems to be specific to Stardock programs.
I have WB5 and my MPT works fine.
