My main PC is also missing the TPM and my laptop has an unsupported (at least yet) CPU but I'm sure Windows 11 would run just fine on both, since I have no issues with Widows 10, but I'm not upgrading until Windowblinds 11 is out. I do like the look of Windows 11 out of the box like quite a few users though, so the longer it takes for Stardock to make a working version, the more users will maybe no longer care about it when it's finally out
Quoting don5318, reply 149 I do like the add on, and upgrades with this latest update on Win11, and that's funny, cause I'm running it on an unsupported hardware machine, I suppose there will be a time, when my laptop won't receive any major updates. <br /
I agree with you, I like Win11 as is, just plain Jane (my personal opinion), run it on my laptop, and it runs fine, love it!
On a plus note it does look like Sun Valley 2 has been released on the Windows 11 DEV channel as of yesterday. That should provide a more stable framework to move forward and actually develop things for Windows 11 without worrying about so many changes.
We Can Hope. The downside to my 4 SSD multi booting set up is the feature updates, can take time to sort them all out, Lets hope there are not any , or too many b

Don and Jan. I listed your names first to address the first part of my comments about there being a members right to vote with there feet and money. You both have my apologies for the "Petty" comment. If i can be honest, i find this forum very like many others, and not particularly welcoming to fresh members or Ideas, none of us know a new members level of IT or customisation skills, but if we all had to prove how much we know before we were allowed to join, some

don5318 and JanOscar . I have read all the comments and a member has the right to vote with his feet and walk away from Stardock Products if they are not happy, that should be fine without being called a Troll. Plenty of users have came to this forum since the launch of Windows11 as they have issues with Stardock Products, we are seeing more and more in the daily recent comments. Constructive comments about Planning Windowblinds 11 is something i have contributed with Hea

You can always roll back to Win 10 if you do not lik

Why is any member who has moved to Windows 11 only to find big problems using Stardock software they have paid for called a Troll. Members who find themselves in this situation will come to this forum and post, and after reading this topic and seeing the dates for said software still unclear and undecided will not feel any better about it. Then to be called Troll or accused of Trolling. All the members here who are happy to continue using WB10 with Windows 10, good for you, but all pe
Why is the WindowBlinds11 better?
As there is no WB11 yet, we have to assume like with lots of things that are released as "new and improved" That it will be better. It will definitely be more compatible and hopefully backwards compatible with older master skins. When it lands i am sure many members will give valued opinions after testing it out.
Based on the fact that I can get Windowblinds 10 to run on Windows 11 via explorerpatcher or reg editing I do not think an overhaul is necessary. I would imagine that WindowBlinds 11 would want to make all the Windows 10 era skins easy to transfer over since there is already a lot of artwork available. My bet is that start 11 taskbar changes are being made to help with this transition. Other then the taskbar, the other main

A scant few of you know the story of where I have been and what I have been through. ( Not that I have had it so bad. ) I have been on the bottom. I have lost my spirit when I lost my entire family. I see you did a clean install of Windows 11 two weeks ago. I do not have or use fences but had the same problem, let me try to explain. I have a desktop computer with 2 feeds coming from my graphics card, one is DVI going to my Desktop Monitor, the other is HDMI going to my large screen Plasma TV. I did a clean install of Windows 11 whilst both monitors were live and active although i was looking and using the desktop monitor, when i was finished i switched between the two and
" reply="8" id="3837417"] I use Macrium and back up every day so I can go back up to 2 weeks. You are then pretty safe until Microsoft messes every thing up again. And we users have to take their word that the changes in the new OS are worth the disruption. I don't think they are. None of cosmetic changes are worth anything and Microsoft never tells you anything about the non-cosmetic changes and how they change/disrupt the way programs run. [/quo
