Impulse Achieving in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

I have been a member for a long time. Paying each year but not updating my applications and kind of lost track when Impulse arrived. These days I am completely mixed up. I am using vista ulimate. When I am in Impulse and select an icon and right click and select download and archive, it seems to work. When I go to the folder D:\Program Files\Stardock\Impulse\backup, the folder is empty,. I changed the path, the folder is always empty. Can someone

That is a great question. I would love to know the anywhere too. If I decide to keep Stardock, can their be conflicts between the both application. Reason why I am asking, is at the moment I can achieve in Stardock, but in Impilse, can't find the folder where they are at.

I have bought the Liquid dream and I am having fun with it. I have dual monitor on vista Ultimate 32. I have several wallpapers that are 2560x1024. Having them this size, I end up with one image displayed on two monitors. I hate seeing the same wallpaper on the two screens. Reading in the forum, trying to understand dynamic dreams. I have a stupid question. I have two monitors of 19" which are 1280x1024..I really enjoy these new dreams. I try to put the ones that will look half decent because I get the same image on both monitors. With normal wallpappers, I was able to find few wallpappers that were for dual screens. Thanks sir for the reply. I delete all folders from the cache, rebooted and i still don't see the cpu monitoring. I have a fast machine 3.2 with a gig of memory. And it worked with this machine before. Must be some program that is causing this, or a software problem. It bugs me, I almost feel like formatting, my whole machine and start from scratch. But i don.t have the guts to do it yet....

I looked and tried this software and got no where. I will try to explain a different way. If I do CNtl Alt Del, the Windows task Manager will open up, and I do see my CPU usage there. It is when I turn on DesktopX and run any theme, they all work fine, excet the CPU. It stays at zero and if i look in the window Task manager, it works fine.

Good day everyone. All of a sudden, when I use desktopX, everything works find except the CPU monitoring. I know it is not the theme, it happens on all. I have disinstalled and installed again, problems, doesn't go away. Anyone have any ideas, I ran out. Thanks.....KeepOn

Thanks Corky for replying. I have verified and Enable MCP Smart Startup and Enable MCP Notification area support, the both of them have checks in the squares. I am almost sure this all started after I update the new version of Stardock application in the beginning of the week. Good day everyone, makes a week now, when I load a desktop theme I get a pop up and this is what is says. MCP not found or wrong version, sytray support disable. I went to stardock and made sure I had that lastest version of desktop. There are no updates to be installed. I disinstalled Desktop and reinstalled it and I have the same proble. Hi Doreen, I have ordered a Ipaq 3950 from HP Canada. The guy was really nice and explained the different models and features. I should be receiving my new toy in a couple days. There was a promotion, I shall be getting a 64M SD card and a car adapter for free.. Can you tell me where are the places to read up and find software for it. Thanks Doreen, I will take you up on that offer. My first skin, I want to do a theme on soccer. Now on on e-bay looking at the prices. That place seems to be the cheapest area to get a ipaq 3950. I am just scared to get ripped off. So slowly, I will have one for sure.

Thanks Doreen for the info. You seem to enjoy Pocket PC and know them. The highest model I have seen in stores around here is the 3850 at Future Shop for $600.00 Can. I will have to understand the Type 1 and 2 card slot your explain. I went to the Canadian web site for the models you mentioned and they have there the 3950 ($900.00 Can) and 3970 ($1000.00 Can). I have been searching all day yesterday. I am convinced to get a ipaq. Now it is to figure the model for my needs. In Montreal I was able to see the 3850, $599.00 It was the best buy I could find at Future Shop. On checked the web site at the 3950 looks good, $900.00. A nice 400Hz.
