If you want to send the theme to me, I'll look at it for ya. I have backups of a couple older versions of DX and might be able to load your theme.

Of course ignorant Americans have to blame Canada for it. Now that was totally uncalled for. We don't truthfully know whos fault it is yet and all you've done here is open things up for a flame war. Besides that, you're facts are wrong.
I live in NY and still had no power in my area when I left for work this morning. Only 60% of Long Island had power as of this morning. Lucky (sarcasm) for me work has power this morning.
Coriander... my name is not David. I can now see the misunderstanding because of my post. What I was doing was telling DavidMandle that what I thought he said was funny. Anyway, my name is Rich. Thanks for your overview of my skin and thanks even more for pointing out where you thought it fell shor
Coffee, smokes and some music... techno, dance, rock... depends on my mood. ditto. Word for word crissy, I thought I'd get hammered for mentioning the "dance" thing as there seem to be so many
I live in one of the few areas that still doesn't have power (western Long Island) but my office which is in the east does have power. My wife had to walk 64 blocks (3 hours) to get out of Manhattan so I could pick her up at the Queens border last night. She is a trooper!

Hmmm... my D just ain't what it used to be!!! [Message Edited]
David... Coriander, there really is no "correct lingo" when it comes to adjectives for a skin. Words like "kewl, awesome, gorgeous, smooth, butt, annoying, fugly" and whatever else you can think up are all totally acceptable. Hmmm... maybe we can come up with a "Skin Adjective Dictionary?" <img src=
I apologize coriander that I missed the question in your comment. As the others here were so kind to explain (and crissy directed me here so an extra thanks to her) it is a "stay-on-top" button. It's handy for things like calculators and other programs that act as helpers. If it has a redline through it, it means the current application doesn't support it. Oh, and thanks for the compliments as they
/me thinks too much drama has been added to this thread so me thinks I'll do something more entertaining like focus on some fonts.
But the intention of it it's just to create turmoil and in the process, offend a large group of people. Apocolypse... I respect you and your work but I disagree. The Bryce 101 tutorial was posted at the height of our fight to have some of the blob and swirlie walls moderated thus I feel that post was made to anger some people. In effect the poste
DWM dusts his pants off and says, "my work here is done."
Thus we are all now familiar with the term "Crappy Bryce Blobs" and Jafo knows just how to treat them. Seriously though, as I've said before, some Bryce works come out cool. However, there are far too many that look like CBB's And as was said Macrobaye, you lose credibility when personal attacks are made. Let's stick to referring to the type of so-called "art" not the artists.
You have a point Brad, good walls do take a lot of effort and deserve to be shown there. Perhaps upping the bar to nothing less than 7 would work for now too. Thanks for working with us.
I really like the idea of having a separate "Newest Wallpapers" section. At least that will give relief to many of us. Course it will not relieve the problem for the really good wall creators. Another good one is no more than 5 walls at a time for any one author although I don't think it's as good a solution. I, like many of you, am holding back my new work until I see it will spend more tha
Yes Doreen but how many "serious" skinning people use this site as opposed to the majority which just come here looking for new and interesting things.
bliss... you don't have any clue what it's like to have a piece of work you spent days or weeks working on pushed deep into the site by 20 walls that took 15 minutes to create.
Hmmm how did I miss this? HEY, I'm famous! I knew I should have plastered my name right in the middle of my stuff. I'll have to give this a going through tomorrow.
Fuzzy seems to be hooked on one thing and one thing only... AGAIN let me clarify. SOME of us (very few) try to help a rating when we suspect FOUL PLAY. MEANING, please read this again Fuzzy, when WE feel someone has given a piece of work a VERY low score due to jealousy, animosity or whatever reason. A piece of work jumping downward 3 or 4 points due to 1 additional rating is, in my view, unjust. AGAIN Fuzzy, this is only in what some of us feel extenuating circumstances. If you don't a
Oh man... hehe, I remember using cassette to store and load stuff. Then I got my first single sided 5.25" floppy drive. WooHoo
What, no Radio Shack stuff? I started my computer life with a Radio Shack Color Computer aka CoCo. *sigh* Things were so much simpler back then.
Do I realize that the admins put a lot of thier own time into this site? OF COURSE!!! Do I appreciate it? OF COURSE! BUT REMEMBER... some of us skinners put an awful lot of time into our creations to support the software too. Some of us even work with the developers to stomp out bugs, make suggestions on how to improve the software or push the software on places other than this site. Many help new users learn how to make the most of the software as well. It is my belief that we should all have a
