*sigh* It's just all smoke and mirrors because of two things. #1 Some of these artists can't afford thier 97 foot yacht anymore and rather than admitting they are played out and/or suck, they point a finger. (perfect example is the new Tomb Raider lackluster sales being blamed on the fact that a game based on it was released before the movie and the game wasn't great) #2 The RIAA is sells nothing and thus if they don't look like they're earning thier exhorbitant membership fees

You are welcome There is a mermaid 3ds model that can be purchased but there are two problems... #1 Its has naked boobies (really nice ones though!) and while that may be cool with a lot of people here, you may not want that for a little girl. #2 It's $195 :^o Anyway, remember, if it isn't a 3ds model, I would really prefer that it already be animated.

Your interim mermaid is uploaded. HOWEVER, it is up to you to find me a better image to work with. I spent 1/2 hour trying find something acceptable and this was it. I would prefer a 3DS Max model but can also work with a reasonably high quality GIF or other animated format as long as there is no copyright on it. The larger the size, the better off we are.

Brad, our basement is partially finished but and when my kids were younger, they played down there all of the time. However we're having it totally redone as an apartment in case my mother-in-law has to come live with us sometime down the road. In the meantime I've slipped in a nice Plasma TV as part of the deal with my wife. In the meantime, there will be a separate bedroom, living room and a nice

I've only shed a tear for three Hollywood people in all my life. Lucille Ball, Jackie Gleason and now Bob Hope. His impact on the world, and especially me, will be remembered for centuries to come. Thanks Mr. Hope!

I didn't read every message in this thread but I sincerely hope there will be some consideration for regular contributors. It is bad enough the amount of money people spend on tools to support the skinning community let alone the amount of time. But for some of them to have to pay for a subscription too... A regular contributor could be based on the # of downloads one gets or something thereabouts. If this has already been clarified, please ignore the above. <img src="http://images.sta

I have been using eBay litterally since it first came online. My rating is over 100, I've done about 130 transactions and I've only had two bad experiences neither of them being catastrophic.

Where the hell do you people find all the time to type this much explaining and/or whining??? Perhaps if some of you put this much effort into a skin/wallpaper/relationship/whatever, this thread would not have gotten as large as it has. Sheesh...

I wasn't born a great skinner... I've been working at it on and off for four years and I still feel that I am only mediocre. Some people ARE born with talents in certain areas and some can never hope to be creative no matter how hard they try. Sometimes lifes lessons are hard to live with. As much as I used to take ratings seriously, I think it's too easy for someone who doesn't like you personally to trash your rating thus I don't really pay much attention anymore. I for one have ALWAYS (until recently by some miracle) sucked at wallpapers but always felt compelled to do one for whatever skin or theme I was working on. I concur that including it in the skin is a possibility but as has been pointed out, makes the file large. I said something a while back about having a "commitee" of sorts but there are problems with that too. Personalities can conflict, taste may not be broad enough and in some cases, violence may ensue. :^O I hate the thought of

Fact is Brad, you will never please everyone and I am sure that you realize that. There will be those who take this all too seriously, those who take it only seriously enough and those (like me) who like to rib a little about it. However, it must be realized that the people have a voice and as such will use it for good or bad when they feel necessary. Most people who post here support both Stardock and WC even if there are some complaints.

I for one have rebelled by refusing to buy anything from any artist that is a member or associates with RIAA. This situation has gotten totally ridiculous. It will cost RIAA more to prosecute these people than they supposedly lose in 5 years. Reduce the damn prices of a CD or at put more than two good songs on a CD and MAYBE, just maybe the public will purchase more. Orin Hatch is just angry because he's ugly. [Message Edited]
