I appreciate the quick response. Allow me to clarify. The main menu buttons always showed text, and some of the game text shows (words "quarterly report" show at outset, but no text inside the boxes). In the galactic setup options (planet types, etc), quarterly report, planetary allocation numbers, credits for the game, ship names, planetary structure descriptions, etc, do not show up. I started a new game after rebooting my system and set the colors to different colors
So I recently purchased Galactic Civilizations 2 Dread Lords. It was working great, but now for some reason text suddenly stopped showing up in text boxes. For instance, in the main galaxy setup the options pictures show up, but the words for the settings (abundant, rare, etc.) are not there. Victory conditions boxes are there, but not the words.
