Reply to (Resolved) Clicking lag on desktop after updating to Windows 10 Creators Update in Fences Stardock Forums

I just wanted to give everyone a workaround that I just tried out that seems to correct the lag issue. Instead of housing all your icons on the desktop, sort them in folders on the same HDD you have windows/fences installed and use the Folder Portal option to create a fence of each folder you created. My desktop went from being unbearably laggy to no lag whatsoever.
