I feel that I am in much the same boat as Daiwa - I rebooted today and WB is just GONE. Big difference for me is that my subscription ran out in Jan and I have to wait until March to renew. I have tried restoring from archive, and nothing works. I made sure that the "Pre-release alpha" is unchecked. I have rebooted several times. I just don't understand why WB has disappeared. Can I (should I) look for something that might have caused WB to go away? Please help!

This just showed up for me recently, so I think it is just an issue with the latest release. But I don't want this to go unnoticed because it is driving me nuts. All tool-tips will be hidden behind the borders of skinned windows. There is a problem if you are on WinXP and using Fences. For some reason there is a limitation that prevents not only WindowBlinds but all other wallpaper changers from working. When given the choice, I chose Fences over any Wallpaper changer, but I really would like them to work well together. (sigh)

Nine days and hasn't changed on me once. But you may have something with fonts that get installed from the UIS (SKS, whatever). But that would mean I have to change skins to test it, and right now, I am totally loving Aero Station.

I think I know what it is - the Calibri font was not on my PC. It is part of Office 2007 (and probably Vista as well) as a replacement for some of the older basic fonts (Arial, Times Roman, etc.) So I followed the procedure to install the Power Point 2007 Viewer (which includes those newer fonts). I will now give it time and see if the font changes on me or not.

Yup, Neil, it is Aero Station - that skin totally rocks - best non-Master skin I have seen in a LONG while. ( odd, I have a lower Member No. than Niel Banfield - how did that happen? ) I will give the WBconfig thing a shot - I just rebooted Monday morning and it still works fine. It does happen with most of the skins I try, but it might still be in the way non-system fonts are displayed when Windows tries to refresh the whole User Interface. Maybe?

Ok - I have been going crazy on this one. But I now know that it isn't me. This has happened on several skins, so it is not a skin issue. Window Blinds allows the skin developer to define the fonts used for several places in the interface. However, I have noticed that after time has passed, the desired font is being replaced by some other font in many areas of my interface. The most noticeably is the System Time on the task bar. Firefox Personas And Some WindowBlinds Skins in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this. I use Firefox and its theme add-on personas, but with some WindowBlinds skins the bottom status area of the Firefox browser window does not take the color or images of the personas. About 80% of all WindowBlinds skins do this. However there are some that will allow for the status area to show the appropriate color/images (Frosted by Mirsguy for one works). I just noticed in the latest WB 7 build you can choose to add textures to only the gray parts of a skin or everything. That is kind of a mask - very nice. I have noticed that some older skins had very fat vertical boarder when a texture was applied - that too seems to be fixed in the latest build. Much Kudos to the developer(s).

Per-pixel and Trillian Issue in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Is anyone out there seeing the same thing I am with skins that have per-pixel borders and Trillian. For some reason some of the Trillian windows will be drawn behind any per-pixel border. This wasn't an issue until the last WB7 update. I just upgraded my Trillian Astra to the latest version 4.1 build 24 Free.
