Change game parameters after game begins? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I haven't followed all of these posts, but how possible would it be to allow a human player to change the game parameters after the game has begun? For example, let's say I give all the other races Average abilities, but later in the game I get bored with the lack of excitement and wish to give them Genius abilities. An application of this would be if I find that I am close to an unwanted cultural conquest, I could boost up the other players in hopes that they would work agai

I agree with the option to turn off different victory conditions (especially culture). This option would let me play longer games and practice (?) using the different techs and tools available only in more mature games.
