She plays the Sims and Dragon Age and she likes Borderlands and a couple of other games. She likes console games too. The nicest part is having a wife that understands my need to game. Just don't ever let gaming come in between quality time.
Sheesh, doesn
It's what the market demands nowadays. Like it or not.
Retro-futuristic sims, now that I would buy. ;)

No public option, over a hundred million Americans will still be unable to afford health care and tens of thousands will continue dying as a result every year due to corporate health care rationing from the ongoing Richard Nixon national heatlh care "system." That means OBSE could add support for GOO's release of Oblivion like they did for the Steam's release.
I think Stardock should put a program similar to EA's Partner program, where they help develop and publish games from little indie studios and devs, like me, :P . It would be a win-win situation.
guess those people who are boycotting civ 5 because of w/e better not go to Maryland ever. You gotta teach Maryland a lesson that it's not ok to support Sid!
Soon you will need to have a Steam account to be allowed entry to the state of Maryland. You'll be asked to log to your steam account upon entry by stateline officials. ;)
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 6 What´s up with Steamworks? Is it different to Steam? Will the game only be available through it? I hope not ffs, i want the physical copy... Steamworks is like Games for Windows Live. It's a platform that gives the game achievements, storage, matchmaking, and some other services that Steam offers. The advantage is that developers can integrate it much more easily then build
What type of game is this? Is it a RTS, TBS, is it more like an RPG, and you move someone in particular? I really want to get one of these Guild games, their setting looks interesting.
On one hand i hear that upgrade cycles are too often needed, and on the other i hear that an old card is more than enough because games are made for console hardware. What gives?

Why not make phone registration each time you wish to play the game a mandatory requirement? How many people in the world don't have phones? Real Starcraft II fans wouldn't care!!Videogames are a luxury that most of the population of the planet cannot afford. Did you kno
Starcraft? What's Starcraft?
You know what would be more disturbing? Valve striking a deal with Microsoft, by which Steam becomes a windows service required for windows to run, on all computers. Your windows logins become steam logins too.
Dont be stupid. Tetris RTS? idiotic. Now the real console players want FPSes. We need a Tetris FPS! Maybe give it some nice 50s retro chic... A little mysterious plot line. Unexplained events, thats sorta thing. A russian connection that shows we are resepcting the source material... I think 2K would be PERFECT to make this game! Think about it, there could be uprgadeable block w
You could make an RTS called Tetris Defender or something like that where you are building a wall to stop invaders. You would allocate workers and resources while playing Tetris on the side to determine how solid the walls the workers build are. (Tetris walls with holes and jagged edges will torn down more easily by the invading armies)
That is on to something there. Maybe some fog of war could be added so that you don

I don't really mind bad games. I mean i hate playing them, persay but a lot of games that IGN, Gamestop and company call bad aren't so bad. Some of my favorite niche games hit 6-7 range every time. And if people want to play a "bad" game, no skin off
Someone should make a Tetris RTS. ;)
Okay. Do you have some evidence of that? The problem with this stuff is that we've always got Valve's printed word on one side, and rampant speculation on the other. Valve says Steamworks is free on their site (as Guest83 linked), and in the brouchure. The've spelled out the business case where they want Steam on more computers because it makes Steam a bigger success as a platform. Steamworks in games encourages that, and they
