Ok I have moo3, and Ive been in the beta for Galciv! MY THOUGHTS in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Everyone reading this must understand I'm a super freak when it comes to any strategy game on the market. From command and conquer, paz imperia, imperium galatica, MOO, and Galciv with the family pack for OS/2 Warp. I've had Moo3 for a couple weeks now, and I've been comparing it with Galactic Civilivations. Lets just say I have more fun with Galactic Civilizations on an overall basis. Metaverse? I dont even know what that is Actually I have dual 21 inch monitors =) I like poking fun at myself. Recently been playing with my two new 1.42 Power Macs =) First macs ive every USED and tried! LOVE THEM! I think Galciv should make its way to the mac =) every mac user would buy it in a heart break ;)

Kickin BUTT in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Played some GalCiv last night and god I will tell you its the only game I come back to and say IM DONE lol (meaning I played so long that my body was shutting down). You guys have it on the button. Congrats and this is ONE game that I would pay twice for System Specs: P4 3.06 GHz 2 Gigz Mem ATI Radeon 9700 Pro Audigy Platinum 2 EX 11" monitor (I know its sad LOL)

Geeeez I have all the dudes set on average, mix attitudes and what not. My issue is that they excel 50x faster =P I build colony ships first thing and grab as many planets as i can (usually 10 within the first lil while) but Im still falling behind. Im building plenty of tech AND social is well but i still SUCK!!!!! HELPS HELPS

ALMOST the best Space Game Ever in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I dunno how to explain it. But something is missing (YEAH i know its a beta). I would like to see more Ship Management features such as allowing th eplayer to select different models etc. If you ever played Imperium Galactica 2 the ship models rock the world. Also adding a Doom star/Death Star would be nice. Maybe more tech. More Minor race options for diplomacy and such. Lil things made Moo2, and IG2. Ill keep throwing things in. =) Any helpful pointers? Good start off and what not? I try to colonize and things A LOT with a lot of luck but it seems everyone surenders to some ugly red dudes. Also does the MULTIMEDIA download do anything?

Mr Ford - Probably the best programmer ever. rare to see someone with his job be patient. Wow =) I feel important lol j/k Recommendation - Alternate download location of some kind =P like enter the last four digits in CC or something then have an auto response to send the game. We do something along these lines at our office (except they are pin numbers in the form of XXX XXXX XX X) highly effective.

I dont really get it =P people said proxy or firewall. Tried and still no luck ;p As i said i tied on NUMEROUS computers =P dialup account, no firewalls, no proxies and still no good. When i get into the office tomorrow ill check there but i believe we have a firewall/proxy there as well. Devs if your listening PLEASE I BEG tell me something say its fixed or some alternate download location or something =( EVEN a contact us button for your office.

Ive tried on three computers now =P Three Winxp Pro Sat connection/Local diap up/AOL/AT&T Win98SE Local diap up/AOL/AT&T Win98 se Local diap up/AOL/AT&T Reinstalled the os and everything else on both machines. So no extra appz running and still have the same issue

WTH The download that you receive is the Game Manager. If you chose to "show Betas" in the options at the top, you will see GalCiv listed, and you can download and install it. Also, for a S/H charge, [email protected] can provide you with a CD if you rather have it on CD. For more information, please contact them.
