I appreciate the fact that Brad is still taking the time to get it right. Or at least to a place where he's happy with it going into "maint" mode. I'll admit, for a while there, I was worried that they were happy with 1.3. Not too many companies will continue to work on a game like WoM with the beating it's taken. Even when giving away the expansion away for free (two for those who bought it early enough), they're still doing what they can to fix WoM.</p

Not really :P And I love this quote
These types of schemes have existed for at least a century, some with variations to hide their true nature, and many people believe that multilevel marketing is also a pyramid scheme"
Then it MUST be true! Many people believe it, so it HAS to be true. Heh.

I think people read too much into things sometimes. Is Google evil? Well, I suppose so. I pretty much think ANY really successful corporation is evil. BUT, to say they're evil because of invites? Really people? Sometimes people just want to jump down their throats. They're trying to promote a new site. It may be viral, but what isn't viral on the internet these days? I'm not necessarily a fanboy of Google, but I'm not a h
I just love it when they say to "hang out" on these sites...no wonder social skills are in the toilet...just glue your ass to the seat and stare at the screen.
True. But at least on G+, if you start a "hangout", it's a large open video chat. So yes, you're on your ass, but you are sort of hanging out with others. Hell, a lot of the time people "hang out", they're sitting on their ass :). &

No, but you still have Farmville, and all that garbage, Sorry if you like that stuff, not trying to offend. Facebook always seemed too clunky to me. Perhaps they will add the ability to filter who sees what, but G+ already has it, and it works well. I don't like the idea of my family seeing the same things that my close friends do. To each his own. I thought I would hate G+, but I've gotten used to it, and like it. The way it's b

I've deleted my Facebook account. I use G+. It's nice to seperate who sees what. Charles, look me up. My name is Ryan Bis. EDIT: Oh yeah, while this will probably change, G+ has no ads. No games, no crap. I never could stand Facebook for that reason.

Thing is, it's not necessarily broken. It just needs balance. Kind of like most things in the game. I do agree it's too easy to abuse right now, but that CAN be rectified right now without having to rewrite any of the game's internal code. It seems like instead of trying to balance what the game has, they instead change how a whole system works.
Quoting impinc, reply 7I think it's because of the way WoM handles the units. Each unit has several "slots" to put equipment on. Multiply that by the amount of units (escpecially with groops of units), and your memory goes bye bye. most other games don't allow you to completely customize your regular troops. We pay a big price to be able to customize our troops. Speaking as a cod

Ok, so I've been tinkering around with this mod a little bit here and there. It really bothers me that this was never finished. I think it could be quite epic if finished. I think WoM becomes quite awesome with the addition of this mod, ACP, updated weapons, and expanded factions. There's just more of everything, the game feels as deep as I feel it should be. So far I've just updated what I'd like to change with a couple of other factions,

I hope there's no problem with me posting this here. I've come a long way. I started out modding Elemental. Which got me wanting to do more than tweak someone else's creation. I ended up writing in App Inventor by Google. After crashing their servers (due to the complexity of the game), I moved on to the Android SDK, and Java (I'd never coded in Java before. Hell, I'd never programmed anything before!). So after a few months, and a few hundred hours
Keep in mind that, so far, all marketing announcements have showcased how FE is different from WoM. While we're not wasting much breath on their similarities, it will be a natural progression of streamlining and improving Elemental, and at it's core it IS still elemental (4x city building, exploring, expanding, battling, etc). So don't worry about us flipping from Fantasy 4x to RTS or something
&nb
it is entertaining enough to keep watching. It is a bit light. *minor spoiler alert* It doesn't convey the post-apocalyptic setting very well. Where are the millions of people? Dead? if so where are their bodies? I would have liked to see more about what occurred. It certainly stretches credibility. Why enslave children? Why not enslave all humans? Why do the aliens show affection fo

I guess the thing I like about Dr. Who is that it doesn't try too hard. That's why some of it seems cheesy , because it is. They don't try to force things like some other SciFi shows. Some shows try so hard to be taken seriously, and it ruins it. Dr. Who has some brilliant writiers (yes Davies not wiriting anymore sucks, but he didnt write every episode anyways). To be appreciated, you have to watch at least an entire season. One Dr Who episode usually doesn't do enough to gra
