Its not released yet, it will probably be fairly late. Maybe past midnight tonight EST.
In this digital age you have fans all around the world! I live in Shanghai and if I've worked out the time difference correctly then the patch should be out around lunchtime, which is perfect for me because I've got the day off today! (Dec 3rd...13 hours ahead) Just wanted to say the work you guys are all doing for the game and for the community

I used to read so many anti-Steam threads and it kinda made me a bit anti digital download too, but then I got Impulse for EWOM and Steam for Civ V and I pleasantly found they're not so evil after all!

I haven't checked this list for a while...Wow!...it's really grown! Great work you guys...look forward to the 1.09o release!

My available update for download now says 1.97GB up from 1.89GB. Too big! My current version is 1.09n beta I think I'll wait until 1.09o is released! @kapeman - What version does yours say when you fire up the game and is it just AI changes?

64 Replies 30,515 Views

Yeah, for 10 cents you can't really complain...I don't mind waiting. Actually I think I got ripped off! I paid 9 pence plus 1 pence VAT, which works out as something like 16 cents.....that's like an extra 60%....outrageous!! [e digicons]:)[/e] I do consider myself lucky though because it seems there's quite a few people in different countries that can't take up the offer. I also read on other forums that people are just advising to install the game and then uninstall the

This sucks! Can't install the game! "Due to the overwhelming success of the Age of Empires III sale, we have temporarily run out of keys to unlock the game. You can still buy the game at this amazing price and you will get/see a key in the next week. When new keys are added to the system you will be auto-assigned a key, there is no need to call support or take any other action from your end. We will post here on the forums when the keys are available and the next time you click 'View

I must admit I don't really understand what this journal entry is all about as I'm putting off learning the game until 1.1 comes out, but I think it's great to see this kind of info coming direct from the devs when compared to the 2K forums where info seems really hard to come by. No disrespect to them as I'm sure they're doing a great job behind the scenes, but who knows what they're doing because there is like zero communication. Big thumbs up to SD devs for being so open! I'm kinda holding back from learning how to play the game at the moment because it sounds like a lot is gonna change and I think I'll get confused. I'd like to try the beta when it's released, however bad it is, just to get an idea of what it's going to be like and to get an idea of the game's mechanics and I think it'll be interesting to see how it develops.
Ah, the evil marketing plan worked. issue 75% refund and then make the game better incouraging re-purchases = an additional 25% profit. Simply brilliant!!!
You know what else they did? After I got my refund the game was deactivated but it still showed up in Impulse as available for install, so it was always there just tempting me back, but just out of reach! I would lurk the forums and see how the game had progressed and how

OK, call me stupid, but the first time I bought it was on release day and then there were all those problems and in my annoyance and frustration I accepted a 75% refund. Now I've bought it again to take advantage of the 2 free expansion packs before 31st Oct. and also because I've seen how Stardock and Froggy have been working and responding on this forum and bringing the game to its current stage and it's all very impressive. What's also impressive is how the community have contribut

I hope Kael stays with Civ and does his magic with Civ 5! Although I guess if he could work on both that'd be great as long as he puts Civ 5 first! [e digicons][/e]
