There is enough room on this forum for both constructive criticism and praise. RAT Then practice what you preach and perhaps offer the Forum some of your constructive criticism?
I have and continue do do so. Assuming I have not done so is presumptious. Look before you yap and flame someone. RAT
Quoting charon2112, reply 6 Jeebus! How many threads like this do we have to see on here? We get it...some of you aren't happy. Guess what? Many of us are VERY happy. So do us all a favor and return your game...quietly. You're free to post threads about how happy you are with the game, just like these people are free to post how unhappy they are. No need to
If you aren't willing to deal with release bugs don't buy the game right when it comes out. PC gaming has ALWAYS been this way. Where have you been? Personally I am waiting to purchase until I see that all the performance and ctd bugs are fixed.
True, very true. But there is point to be made that it shouldn't BE that way. There should be no reason that we have to accept kind of half-complete product every time.
But it is true...if you really re that upset you can get a refund. I read in another forum some guy played like 100 hours and decided he didn't like it anymore so he asked for a refund. If it was ok to play it for 100 hours it begs to question why the hell did he think he got ripped off? Stardock is really good about refunds...to some that is a better option then keeping it. How that is fanboyish

Probably for a long time. I have no problem with the constantly improving the game. This is a GOOD thing. The big issue is the initial state of the game was rather lackluster. RAT

Wonderful post Brad, I admit I have criticisms of the game at the current state; however i think you have the right idea of how to go about rectifying the problems. Kudos. I am looking forward to the upcoming fixes and the new material. I also want to offer my thanks on acknowledging a tutorial, there is alot of frustration out there about what exactly certain mechanics are and what some things do. RAT
Edit: Also if you recall Elemental didn't ship with two Disc 1s to anyone, manuals missing pages, pages in manuals out of order, or other discs just missing. >.> Just saying.
EWOM had poor distribution and a lot of folks bought it via download; 2 disks you can return - many folks can't even find a retail copy. Besides that was rare event. Civ may have had printing issues but at least the manual was trifle mor
Quoting Dethedrus, reply 73And this is where Elemental is feeling the pain. Looking at the vitriol being spewed on these forums, you would think the game fried everyone's PC on executing. Like all of Stardock's offerings, they are not for everyone. Not many people are big fans of 4X games.
Talk about hyperbole, that comment of yours is a classic one. This forum has been pretty solidly constr

I think it is XP gained. Just a guess though. The other possibility (being the crown is the same as your kingdom button) it being some kind of of prestige? Yes indeed, the lack of documentation make sit hard to tell what is bug, what is not and what is just a unexplained concept. It isn't helping the game's image. RAT
Yes, when I attacked trolls, I did not care if I used fireball or lightning. Yawn, who cares. But, for one example, trolls should be vulnerable to fire, and perhaps evern regenerate physical damame. Now THAT would add variety and strategy to a battle. As for now, who cares . . . . Exactly: Magic currently is boring, mainly because of lack of variety. A big step towards adding variety
Quoting wynams, reply 3Once a game is available to purchase is a fair time to review it imo. These companies holding back reviews giving SD time are doing them a HUGE service This. In some cases it takes a few days for reviewers to truly give a game some time, depending on when they get copies to review, and in some genres reviews are held back til extensive gameplay occurs (like with MMOs, for ex, since it takes days/weeks to ge
Quoting owl208, reply 34I agree with Chick's point about the game manual. The game manual that was made for Dominions 3 is how a manual should be. I hear you. My one big complaint with Elemental is the manual. It's basically a pamphlet. It should have been 4 times as big, I really want to know all the details about this game...
Amen, the thing felt more li
