Gadgets/widgets/docklets/desklets.. in a fence? in Fences Stardock Forums

Has this been suggested? I've tried the freeware version of Fences and today decided to get the Pro version and re-install. While I was organising my desktop I thought that it would be cool if I could have dragged my windows gadgets to a Fence. The idea of being able to combine a clock, calendar and shortcut to Outlook in a Fence is rather attractive. I know you can do something similar in ObjectDock (I have the OD2 beta), but I don't use it so much as I like the Win7 jumplists.

I looked in the address bar once the page for the location in question had loaded. e.g : h tt p://uk.w3.weather.com/weather/local/UKXX0085?x=0&post=post&code=code&y=0 Zip codes for the UK are always 8 digits long starting with UK. Knowing that, just cut and paste.

Use the following zip codes (from weather.com) Harlow: UKXX0244 London: UKXX0085 Stanstead: UKXX1547 (Stanstead wasn't accepted but Stansted Airport was, in Essex)

"I really do think that Stardock should play up the productivity of their stuff more." OD+ has seen me dump the windows taskbar/tray permanently. 1 Drawer at the top and a zoomer at the bottom with a start menu docklet. Not only do I have access to all I need quickly, but I gained a little more screen for doing design work and layout

"I have the free OD at the top of my screen, OD+ and Objectbar at the bottom..." I might add alscwj that you don't need the free OD to place a zoomer at the top of the screen. OD+ can handle more than one tray/dock and you have the advantage of having just the one control panel to adjust them all.

Set up your firewall correctly (cookies, referers script etc.), use antivirus and don't download or install 'dodgy' software. Works for me. Adware and bazooka haven't found a thing in ages.

I haven't noticed this problem using Firefox (+SP2), IE must be trying to be overly clever again.

Thanks MiNDTRiPP, but would you believe I have done this. The box does pop up, and I put in the URL (yes, I know how to do URL's ), I click ok, and nothing. I have as I said, tried this with cookies full on, referers on, heck, I've even shut down the firewall and let everything through.

Make sure SysStatsCOM.dll is in the Objectdock dir, not docklets. I had this same problem, and this fixed it.

Possibly I'm missing something here, but don't you need skinstudio and windowblinds in the first place to make a windowblinds skin? So those entering will either have Objectdesktop or major components of?
