Hi Derek - it's not from multiple champions doing it as Magnar is the only one in his faction who can cast it... so the stacks are a result of his ability only. However, please note he has 3 casts on himself... and he also, coincidentally, has himself and 2 other heroes. So I think something in the code is allowing burning blade to stack on one unit based on the champion count. This might explain why some people have reported 10+ stacks of burning blade, I think I've even seen that on
[quote who="Kongdej" reply="7" id="3244799"]Quoting Derek Paxton, reply 6 I'm not sure how you are getting multiple burning blades on a unit. Is this only happening on AI units, from your screenshot it looks like Magnar is your unit. I think Magnar is an AI controlled sovereign, and the player (AllanMandragoran) is playing a sovereign with Beastmaster, since it is 1 sovereign, 1 Cave Bear versus 1 sovereign and 2 stacks of trained units. Sincer

I know others have mentioned it before. Please fix por favor.
Confirmed for me too.
Confirmed for me. It appears every time a faction surrenders on their own, the sov remains on the map.
Is the red supposed to be there? Can't quite figure it out.
Hi - just a minor polish issue but it bugs me now and then. When you loot a lair located on a forest tile, the spot ends up a forest tile without forests. I usually notice this when, after forgetting I looted something, try to move over the tile thinking its a plains and I use up 2 movement points. Is it possible to either 1. convert the tile to plains or at least something consistent with the graphic or 2. leave it forest put those green tree things on it. [e digicons][/e] </
This is good - I'm seeing monsters on the map I haven't seen in a long time. Where art thou, Shrill Lord?
I believe Brad fixed this in 0983 (just came out).
In the spirit of that classic SNL skit, I live in a van down by the river. Oh, I need more cowbell!

After that I will probably start making my contributions significantly shorter and less meaningful. I would totally phone in the last couple of iterations until half the players pretty much stop playing. I want it to be as much like the books as possible. All kidding aside, you could make a pretty cool WoT mod, but each game would have to take place in only

Hi HF - quick question. Did you do any moddingto influence whether an AI surrenders? In my current 0.982 game the top faction suddenly decided to surrender (I was at war) but it didn't make any sense. I've had some smaller ones surrender I was smacking around but the faction power of this guy was like 100 higher than mine. Just wondering whether I should tell Brad to look at that.

Hi Derek - screenshot is from HF mod but looks like it's a vanilla issue.
@jshores - yep, same thing coming out of cities. However, I just took a champion out and moved around, then attacked. So it looks like it might occur all the time or if the unit was in a city at beginning of turn or something.
