Hot damn I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you rock Heavenfall!
Quoting cww256, reply 12I am in the same boat as Winnihym. I'm on Win 7 64 and have all latest drivers, but can only get about one game in four to go past about 20 turns without having FE crash as soon as I end the turn. Its a little frustrating. I realize its beta, but its really difficult to even try to test, because I have no feedback on what to try to detect/avoid the crash. Have you posted any of you

Das, these are cool. Checked a couple out last night.
Yes, in my game Resoln was wiped out - first ten turns or so.
I've noticed the same thing.
Fought the Empire Champion Csilla whom casts Mass Curse. When she does that, it bugs out tactical combat where the player's only choice is to autoplay to finish the combat.
The weapon Sculla's Mace has the shrink ability. Unfortunately it stacks upon multiple hits so when I attacked a Forest Drake I had his 40+ attack down to 1 in no time.
Yup, really enjoyable! This is a great build. However just experienced my first 0.86 CTD. [e digicons]X([/e] Email sent to support.
It's not a bug. Resources touching your city proper will tie up your production queue. Resources not touching your city proper will build outside the queue. In short, try to always build resources outside your city first, then snake buildings towards them after to bring them into your city proper.
Not to steal from MOM, but allowing the player to choose housing (growth) or trade goods (gildar) is a pretty solid mechanic for empty build queues. Hell, you could even allow worship or something to create additional mana. To provide more choices, you could allow focus on whatever resource is tied to the city. For example, if the town has a mine allow focus on metal or crystals or diplomatic capital even if the city has that resource. Now there's still the issue of resource exces
Super impressed with this build. And not a single crash tonight, yay!
I hear what you all are saying but I've had a blast this first game. Loaded up a normal game to show my daugher the ropes, playing as Porpoiseinippity, and was like holy crap hardly any xp from kills. But then I figured out she can summon that Shadow Warg, oh man, hella fun. Put next to a Wildlands, friggin 5 man groups of Ogres chasing my butt all over the place, destroying my Outposts and resources. Tactical combat is light years beyond where it was - Darkling Shaman cursing and
Downloading now! Will certainly let you know, especially about any crashes.
So I had this random idea that popped into my head, similar to my other great idea that if I spend $100 a week on lottery tickets I'll win the jackpot in 3 months. Would it be cool if the game logged major feats of my heroes and sovereign, recording them in a unique diary kind of thing? Would this add a cool kind of immersion to the game, making me feel more connected to my main characters? It's almost like a debug.err file, but tracking key events throughout the game tha
I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow, or Friday for that matter.
I want a new Leisure Suit Larry, or Secrets of Monkey Island.
I don't think UI features should be techs. One idea: have three difficulty settings World difficulty- for monster difficulty Strategic difficulty- for strategic AI Tactical difficulty- for tactical AI This way, if folks find the tactical AI unfun, they can tone it down, and if they like it, they can keep it.
