Brad/Derek - please do something about player ability to ninja monster loot. Stealing from a monster and then killing it with the stolen loot is... cheese. Speaking of cheese, in my current game I had a 3 hero stack early game. Ran into a Shrill Lord stack, too powerful at the time to take on. However, I split my 3 hero stack into individual units, kited the Shrill Lord stack off the lair, and proceeded to ninja the loot. I was like, holy crap I'm brilliant, and then felt ashamed. Very as
Ha! Playing a large map as Magnar on Challenging with all players. Ninja'd Torax's area a bit earlier but left him in there. Anyway, just mopped up Yithril and now Torax is loose from his area rampaging. He just took out one of the cities I took from Yithril. Totally unexpected and awesome! Now I'm scratching my head on how to handle that beast... fun stuff.
Default option is off. You can turn it back on in options.
I voted good. Haven't had any crashes (outside the diplomacy thing) but have had some weird slowdowns and graphical bugs. I guess my biggest concern at this point is replayability - do I want to play any more games before the next beta release?
I've had a few battles where I kill the last mob, it freezes, and the only way to leave combat is to hit auto-resolve. When it finishes it shows all the mobs I killed but my side gets 0 xp.
Clean!
I'm now sitting in the corner with a dunce hat. False alarm! Apologies, Derek!
I'll double-check today and advise. I probably need to be sitting in a corner with a dunce hat.
If someone with this issue doesn't mind a bit of troubleshooting (and wants to avoid downloading and installing the whole game) would you please try deleting your "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\Screens" directory? The game will recreate it next to you start to play. This will tell us if the screen cache isn't picking up the patch changes. [/quote
Amulet of Warding states 3 defense but status +3 spell resist. When I equipe and unequip the item, neither stat changes so it doesn't look like the item is doing anything.
Built an iron mine diagonal from city hub and it didn't use the city build queue to do it. However, once I placed a building next to the iron mine, the city didn't recognize it as already built, and it rebuilt the improvement all over again using the city build queue. Same thing goes for the death shard next to the iron mine. Looks like the code isn't recognizing world improvements as already built. Looks like a bug to me but maybe it's intended?
Just gave it a good go for a few hours as Magnar. Lots of fun, really enjoyed it! Game feels alot more crisp too, hard to nail exactly what, but my performance seems to be better. Didn't have a single crash either, even loading a game within a game (1x), and for my rig that's abnormal. Well done! [e digicons][/e]
"The Tarth have been forced to hand over their semi-colons" lol Uh... Maze... Ing... This thing should have been put in pastebin, longer than some of my previous debug.err files. Well done Derek & team! Off to play...
Brad was jammin' to something in that 2nd vid!
Fantastic! [e digicons][/e]
I agree, I like 1 tile city idea.
Personally, I'd rather have 1 tile cities with a separate screen for placement. I'd like the city hubs on the strategic map to look awesome, representing size and specialization, and let the artsy details be on the separate city screen (and allow players who want to place, place manually). 1 tile cities will free up some real estate on the strategic map for quests, monsters, etc. Solves snaking, teleporting, etc. and still allows players who like the aesthetics of placing to do so on
Ponies too!?
I prefer not outlines due to performance concerns.

What HF said! lol I would find the game much more enjoyable with more varied environments. Loved that with HF's EWOM mod.
You can modifify the terrain graphics. I've done it a lot. In addition, the raceconfigs or some other XML specifies what type of environment that faction spreads. The main limitation is RAM. Personally, I'd love the idea of one faction spreading arctic, another desert, another swamp, and so on.
Ditto!
Quoting AlLanMandragoran, reply 167I have this, Fortress America, and 2 boxes of Axis & Allies. All original. Moving with me for 25 years, haha.Very nice! Axis and Allies is my favorite. I also favor the World at War add-on (unofficial expansion pack). If your of the mind to play Axis and Allies on the computer; there is a free, open source program called Triple-A. Modders have made exact replicas of the various A&A games
