OH DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can deal with ANY other application not working right - but I hate Windows Explorer SO much - and Directory Opus is such an incredible program. Tabs in file management - all the things M$ should have done years ago. And at least if WB could just ignore DO and leave it alone - but it mangles it!!!!! DANG!!!!! I have tried to exclude two different applications entirely because they were so hard on the eyes. One is an older app called "FileSync", which I'm not surprised wasn't compatible since it's so old. But the other is Directory Opus which is the very latest version. What do you mean if I have aero on my system??? (pardon my ignorance) I have noticed - now that I've downloaded and tested out about 4,097 different skins LOL - that several don't cover the entire horizontal width. It just seems so very strange.

I appreciate your reply - but I've seen & tested out MANY skins that are Win7 compatible just haven't had the descriptions updated. Specifying XP/Vista does NOT equate to "WILL NOT WORK RIGHT ON WIN7" - but again - I appreciate the reply. Just wish you didn't feel the need to imply I hadn't read the description. PS: I will however admit that had I zoomed in on the screenshot I would have SEEN that even on XP/Vista - there is the gap there. &nbsp

Hey THANKS for the quick reply RedNeck! I was actually very pleased to see that Impulse REFUSED to install the BootSkin thing - and TOLD me it wasn't compatible with my OS! That's great, but Criterion on the other hand - DID install - and the freakin' taskbar doesn't cover the entire width of the desktop!!! And I had to PAY for that one!!! LOL I'm still pissed - but at least I got a good list of what I can and cannot use - THANK YOU AGAIN! Peac

Ok so I purchased ObjectDesktop, installed Impulse, and bought the Criterion theme and installed it. Much to my dismay the taskbar isn't as wide as the desktop - so there is a GAP to the left of the start button. Anyone know why or how to fix it? If not - I want my $4.99 back. I've spent a great deal of time reading the forums, and looking over the StarDock web-site and product offerings. I decided to purchase ObjectDesktop and a theme, I have Impulse installed. My question is this - while looking over all the products offered by StarDock - thinking I might purchase others - I find MOST of them list XP/Vista in their descriptions and there is NO mention of Windows7 (again, for MOST, I'm not saying ALL). resetting Win7 appearance to defaults in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

I hope this is not off-topic.... but as I am testing out WB I am "learning"(ie; playing LOL) and downloading many many themes and making tweaks and changes here and there. My question is - short of uninstalling WB (which I don't want to do), is there a way for me to un-do all these customizations and return Win7 to it's original state? I started the process with a fresh install of Win7 on my laptop, and I'm honestly shocked that Windows7 doesn't have all the "Restore to Default"
