it's actually what I'm doing.. I stay with nexus dock from winstep that perfectly manages 64bit processes and trays... for free! Red.
I confirm Ashtefere finding about low res icons for 64bit explorer windows/tasks in 64bit OS. by replacing this dock64.exe file most of the low res icons are now high res. very good job friend! it's funny that this didn't come from any stardock people..... thank you for posting this, gevansmd I'd like devs to focus on this bug this is not happening in W7Vista 32 bit OS but just in W7/Vista 64bit. if we try to force an icon change we get the error message</
