More choices for tech brokering/trading in diplomacy. Say you don't want to trade certain techs but you need that laser cannon to shoot down your enemy's armoured ships so you could pay resources for a certain number of derated laser cannons or permission to produce/buy ships with the laser cannon without the other upgrades to it, like selling a F-15 to an ally without the missiles/radar/avionics that go with it. I would say that refitting your ships with the new tech would be pro

No matter what happens; looking at tech, building mining base, talking to other empires, the game just freezes and the screen goes black while the cursor is visible and the music starts playing again. Uploaded the Debug.err file and let me know what else you need. (Identity part 2 of The Orville makes me want to wreck the Yors some more)
Some narrative for third age, or fourth, content would be nice, sortof like the "Last Big War" from MoO 2. By then, you're already further along with your victory goals where there's no challenge left against the balkanized galaxy with your superior empire.
The survey ship on auto survey is acting a bit odd. While its cool that it doesn't know where they are anymore, it seems to be skipping survey sites it sees to auto explore elsewhere and any site it reaches doesn't give a report on the bonuses it receives. I'm updated to Crusades 2.5 from GOG.
(Off-Topic) Considering the strength of the Force that went widely out of control during the EU period, one wonders why Darth Vader was lazy that day.
" If you build small, cheap ships why can't you build 2 or more at a time if you have the production for it? I don't see the logic behind the limit of 1 ship per turn ." Building a bunch of junk ships each turn prevented the AI from invading since each ship must be attacked separately without the orbital command improvement is why this rule is in effect.
While your soveriegn is your avatar, the wars foiught in game are somewhat bland due to high level champions having no egos to turn events interesting, It just makes the game intereswting if your champions let the egos inflate and their stupidity loses battles. For example; A prideful warrior will sit out a battle if nothing worth killing is present. An envious mage may not work with another mage and if forced, suffer a large penalty. Du

I guess the Vasari designers was stuck with how to design it and one stepped on a Vasari roach. Took one look and said, "Hey, that looks cool."
I've used it on a fully stocked desert planet and it didn't do much of anything. Hence why I asked if it was even worth it since 267 population apparently did nill against my advert adversary. It should have done in the ballpark of about 5000 damage, yet it had done none what so ever hence my confusion. I went in with my fleet immediately after using it and their entire fleet was still active and undamaged.

Now all the maintenance costs of those extra moving parts on such a ship would probably ensure that there wouldn't be a lot of these sort of "submersible guns", and we wouldn't know if such maintenance would be worth the cost. Yet, just possessing the capability alone is enough to change the nature of strategic planning, and therefore development of such a weapon could be worth the cost for this reason alone. [/q
