Ok, Ian tells me that SE is web-based now and that it won't save any files to your harddrive if it does generate a report, but it SHOULD be popping up a dialog. I'll see what I can do about it, but in the meantime, if you have save games that can re-produce the crash within a few turns, zipping them up and sending them to me is always a good alternative or even addition.

Yes, I know about the losing sound problem, but this one is a bit different. It's really odd that Periz only has trouble in game, not at the menu. Since he can play the mp3s before he gets in game, that would seem to indicate something like the DirectSound buffer for the mp3 player is getting messed up when a new game is started, which wouldn't affect how the sfx wavs are played because they have their own buffer.

"colors in the minimaps are unreadable. Black as background is terrible for blu... Zooming improves but" You may have to adjust your brightness a bit for now... The planet and ship lists design are on the list. "UP: how can I call for a summit? how often is automatic? how many issues did you input?" You can't call for one. I don't know if that will be an option in the future. It's currently set for every 4 years (48 turns). We obviously still have to add a l

Planets: 1. We're going to be putting the currently building projects on the planet list entries. 2. Good idea. I've added it to my list. 3. The production ratings are there, but they aren't labeled, they just have the icon of that crane thingy. 4. The new planet list will be sortable 5a. The planet class. The '4' in that font is too wide, so any 2 digit number with a 4 in it doesn't show up correctly. b. Hmm...I'll see what I can do to make

1) ::sigh:: I'll take a look at it, but it had been working correctly for me, including with that saved game that you'd sent me. 2) We'll check this...someone else reported it,but we were sure that we'd fixed this... 3) Actually, I think that before it was just sorted by the order it scanned in the definitions... 4) We know. :( We have to tweak the social projects that affect morale again. They were too powerful before, but they're too wimpy now. 5) I think

Dave, are you getting any errors in your debug.err file saying that you're missing graphics or anything like that? Scott and I are both sure that the first bug that you reported is fixed in the lastest beta, (although I don't currently have a saved game where I can test that at the moment) and I can definitely do number 2. MDL is just the extention that we use for our model files. It's an animated object, such as a ship, that was rendered out as a filmstrip and then run through our encoding uti

"-ships with moves after leaving auto-pilot lose their remaining moves." was reported again in beta 1y. I didn't put any bugs regarding the dgm on the list because they're separate issues from Gal Civ. "dialup connection is initiated when playing galciv" Thanks. This is harder for us to debug since none of us are on dial-up. I'll have to give it a try as soon as they activate my phone line. Umm...is it just that particular transport or any transport? Did you happen to have the UP issue come up to vote on whether or not transports could have attack values? If so, did they get any? I'd like the save game if you have it; hopefully the new build will have resolved the problems I was having loading beta testers' save games... [email protected]
