Uh oh... is this going to turn that April Fool's joke into a reality?
Nope, it has nothing to do with the joke. I'm just curious so I thought I'd ask.
I love the "Windows is obviously my first choice" additude to this poll.
This is a Windows site.

As you've probably already noticed, we put out an update to the central Stardock Forum system today that comes packed with fixes, plus a handful of very useful new features. Instead of letting you guess randomly at what's new and how it works, I thought I'd give everyone a quick run-down of the new features. Sure we're a Windows customization site, and Windows users are roughly 99.99% of our daily traffic, but I sometimes wonder what alternative OS choices you all make. Do you dabble in a bit of Linux on the side? Does your spouse/roommate/friend have a Mac that you find yourself using from time to time? Do you have a dusty Solaris workstation in the corner you run a file server on sitting in the closet? So, in addition to Windows, what else do you use? <P align=cen

Sometimes we get some really crazy skins uploaded to the galleries. These are themes, skins, walls etc that are definitely "out there" in just about every respect. They're not low-quality by any means, they're just very unique in color choices, textures etc. Here are a few of the crazy skins we have on the site: <A id=ctl00__ContentArea__TopSkins__Skins_ctl03__SkinShotLink href="https://www.w

It may be better than previous games, but when I'm used to things like Xbox Live, and the overall multiplayer experience on the PC, the Wii implementation in general drives me up the wall.
good skincast! wish the easy kabitzing that showed up in last week's cast was there this week. You guys sounded kind of stiff this week... relax enjoy the fun of the cast! I felt last week I was sitting in a corner of the office listening to the banter of coworkers. this week it seemed more like work. Hope next week you will feel more comfortable and enjoy it like you seemed to last week.
Some weeks will definitely be more "on" than others :) An

So yesterday I went out to my local Best Buy and picked up a copy of Mario Kart Wii for my Nintendo Wii. Like all Nintendo consoles, it seems my game library is dominated primarily by Nintendo developed titles (Zelda, Mario, Smash Brothers). So it just sort of makes sense that I'd go out and get the latest Ma

Well, we managed to churn out a second episode of the WinCustomize SkinCast! This week we take questions from the forums and just sort of goof off in general (do I detect a theme?). This week we managed to stay in the 15-20min time frame too! Remember, you can subscribe to us via iTunes and receive updates as soon as we publish them. Download them, sync them up to your iPod and go.

Good Morning everyone! I hope everyone had a fun filled weekend and got a bit of sun. While we were all out and away from our PCs, folks were once again slaving away on skins, icons and more. Here are my picks for some of the best stuff uploaded over the weekend. <A id=ctl00__ContentArea__SkinList_ctl09__ListSkin__SkinPreviewLink href="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1704&libid

I'm honestly confused here. The forum posts have always been cross posted. Not a single thing changed in this regard between the last JU and this one. The ONLY thing that changed regarding this is the Recent Articles list on the JU front page and on subsequent blog pages (but not on the forums). This list currently mixes forum posts with blog posts. We've said this will change and that the Recent Articles list is going to be returned to the way it was. I
I am seeing one problem- a few other publishers have your ideas too. Paradox has a good competitor to you guys in Gamersgate. ANd then there's the Steam Gorilla.
The existence of other companies in the market shouldn't scare people away from entering it. Competition is good for the consumer as it spurs companies to improve their services, offer more variety of product and try and stay ahead of the other guy constantly. Recently Joystiq sat down with Brad Wardell (Stardock CEO) and Chris Taylor (Gas Powered Games Founder) recently to talk a bit about Demigod, a little bit about Sins & Gal Civ 2, and of course about copy protection and where the PC games market is headed. The result? It looks like PC Gaming isn't dead afterall, and that Stardock/Gas Powered Games have some interesting ideas on where the future lies. <A href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/24/joystiq-interview-demi

GamerNode took at look at the PC game release calendar for this year and realized something; 2008 is a great year to be a PC strategy gamer! While the article talks about genre giants like Starcraft 2, Empire: Total War and the highly anticipated Spore, do you know the game they led the feature with? If you said "Sins of a Solar Empire", you'd be right! Highlighting Sins' scale, integration of 4X elements with real-time gameplay and an engine that performs well an
