That's a terrible idea. The Vasari Loyalists have to actually go in and capture the planet at least. With the novalith cannon you would just have to sit behind starbases (ie TEC Loyalists) and blow planets up destroying their economy and any chance to recover.
Advent: Both titans are horrible and instead of buying those you should get more radiances to brilliance the enemies fleets to death.
Last time I checked the Eradica Titan is one of the most powerful and that it's only real drawback is the lack of a level 6 ability (ie having to die to use).
So what happened? I've been gone for like a month and come back to see the forum is disarray?

Do you have a replay of this so we can actually look and tell you what went wrong? Can we also get a more specific fleet composition of the Advent fleet. Advent fleets synergize well and with 4 capitals and their frigates they can dominate. I would say that you got hit with the starbases meteor ability but seeing that you said you were away from the starbase this entire time. I assume you were out of range of their abilities. The Advent Rebels titan will eat flee
The RTS genre is inherently simplistic. This is a 4x RTS. You can only do so much before it becomes cumbersome and essentially just wasting your time. You can't build your own ships are something like that because you simply don't have the time to do so since everything is in constant motion. Maybe something like the Galatic Civilization (another game by Stardock) or Endless Space is something to your liking. Those have more complexity but are turn based games. <p
You forget that also Red Button also had a range buff and that it can cover entire phase lanes. Double SBs deny entry for anything. I can't really agree to the whole Starbases actually destroying balance since it seems to be a non-factor in MP games. I almost never see them these days except Orkys for obvious reasons. Red button needs to be rolled back in some way I agree to that though. Oddly enough general opinion for a long time was that the TEC Loyalists were a

Problem is getting actual players to target the Kol. Any smart player would just ignore the Kol and aim for the more vunerable Dunovs, carriers, and repair cruisers in the back.

1. Strip all your planets 2. Find some random astroid in the middle of the map 3. Build a 2000 supply fleet in about 30 minutes 4. Steamroll your emenies and win the game. I don't see the disadvantage of stripping all your planets. If you really wanted a korstra cannon than find some random astroids or moons to place them on. Culture is irrelevant when you eat every planet in your path. Steady income is irrelevant. You'll have mo

Possibility of being backlashed by their community. I wouldn't look highly of a mod from another current 4x game for this one. Besides Endless Space can never be accomindated for Sins. Gameplay mechanics are too different to even make a attempt of a mod.

What you talking about? I use the empire tree all the time. Helps with micro.
They have a mix of weapons. And all of them are composite types so they are effective against all armor types no matter how you look at the numbers especially on mass.
1. No need to double post your thread. 2. Flak (defense vessels of Advent or Setinels of Vasari) and capital ships with area of effect damage can deal with them easily. Titans (most) have AOE. The TEC Corsev has AOE. The Advent Discord has AOE abilites to deal with them.
For Rebellion or a patch to the Entrenchment one?
