Wouldn't the dual-research allow eight star bases within a stars gravity well? If the Advent get something similar.. just imagine.. We're talking 160 strikecraft in the gravity well at all times, not to mention meteor swarms, disorientation.. It would be.. epic! Nobody knows until you actually put them head to head in combat. Just pray that won't happen anytime soon. If it came down to it then it's probably gonna be decided by pilot skill rather than the jets themselves. Edit: Move this thread somewhere else.

We never upgraded until now because the enemy hasn't. The big difference now is the cannons are literally not miles long, more energy efficient and projectiles reach greater maximum speed. Saddam also had a private contractor build him one that could easily reach Isreal. Although that one was origina

The need for battlecruisers is non-existant. You are better with giving heavy cruisers another role since they don't seem to have much use for now.
War is big part of the human condition at this stage in our evolution. The human condition has not reached a stage of being where killing each other is against our nature. As much as I would like that to be the case, I will take the railguns on my next tour just in case. Can these be fired underwater? I am so tired of torpedoes and depth charges.
No I doubt it regardless of speed. Water resistance will still stop it.
Buying directly from the black market it is unlimited. Prices vary depending on how much someone buys or sells from the market. If you sell more then the price drops. If you buy more then the price increases. Buying from players is only when you or the other person actually put resources out but this feature is never used. Usually as you progress in the game you will find that you don't need the black market more and more.

It isn't exactly how powerful the Titans are but the ease and speed one can just rush one of these things out. Also the fact that their isn't a proper counter to Titans yet.
Does anyone think corvettes are actually adding anything to the game? I'd rather just not have them.
In their current state no. If patches bring buffs to them then they can actually be useful. At the moment all they are is just be cheap cannon fodder.
I think there are games out there that has a lot less things and charged a lot more.
CoD would be a good example. Yes I am bringing this arguement in here. And they gave you all the info before the beta began on what exactly is in the Rebellion. There were no surprises. It was mostly your fault that you didn't bother to pay attention. Also as stated 4 months doesn't make you the "biggest fan
Untrue. If you have a guy in the eco slot think of the chaos. The eco guy sits there with 2 people guarding his flanks and he can just sit there and build 8 Titans is insanity. 1 Titan is broken in ICO but having 8 now something is completely wrong here.
Nice letter. I am curious on how a Kol matches against the Vasari or Advent titans then if they really want us to more battleships.
Quoting JA_394, reply 4I actually hope they don't nerf the Titans. I like the idea of them being able to take out an entire fleet of ships. Later in the tech tree? Maybe. Not my call. But the Titans don't need a nerf. No ******* way. The problem is whoever has the higher level titan is almost always going to win right now. If you decided to expand your economy a bit first and the other guy rushed the titan, you're
Lol if that's the case then explain why the TEC rebels are suddenly on the super offensive? The TEC loyalists are doing what they have been doing this entire time which is defend their worlds from invaders.
I kinda agree on this. It didn't really make much sense that I had to pay for something I wasn't using.
Quoting SivCorp, reply 17I think they just need a damage boost. they only cost 1 supply, so they should be cheap.... but their damage is a bit too low. Ummm I would say no. Everyone remembers the old Advent scouts. Lots of little things that do damage will kill you.
The thing is that Corvettes are ment to swarm and kill you. Scouts weren't made for this.
Titan's need to be moved up the tech tree. It is way too dam easy to just beeline the Titan and practically just hit "I win" button. There really should be a series of weapon upgrades before hand at least before you can just randomly jump into Titans. I mean superweapons you have to research that entire line of upgrades to the last tier. (Well not anymore with loyalists) Maybe since this is beta and everybody wants Titans, they made it really easy to acquire one.
They need durablity and more attack power. At their current state corvettes are useless. You are better just beelining for the Titan and start raping everything.
Did you try contacting stardock's support?
Gold pack doesn't have any problems for mods. At least I never had a problem using gold pack with mods.
Does anyone else find the Rebel Titan's white particle fx for that 'shotgun' ability a bit... overdone?
Meh if anything someone will mod it out if it really annoys them that much.
