Thanks for the idea, harpo. The three exes were already in the firewall exception list. I also tried turning off the firewall completely. Same result.

I have the same problem and nearly the same system. I've tried running the other exes directly, deleting the user.settings file (which another thread said might have been corrupted) and reinstalling. Starting the game creates a process, but no gui launches. The processes don't seem to go away on their own unless I force close them. If I start it with the version specific exes, I can have multiple processes running. I can't find any error messages or system log events about
