I don't know I have a good computer and I never have lag problems unless it is somebody else. I also have verizon. Like everyone should have. If you don't have verizon YOU DONT HAVE SHIT... Ok back to your post. Its just balancing because of lag is just weird I do agree that there does need to be more ways to actually beat bomber spam because its so easy an idiot could do it if they knew how to macro properly. I think this lies within in the game code though. Because no mat

Yarlen you are a necromancer to! But uhm, last I checked harmony and cultural integrity have the same ability animation.

Its supposed to be easy to take. If you have a gigantic fleet you may as well just go kill your opponents than actually do the occupation victory.
Just going to bump this to make sure the devs keep this in their sights.
To be honest Telekinetic push is fone its very strong. The Kortul is also the most used Battleship of them all and is very viable. The Advent really do not need any more buffs because with Corvettes there bad early game has been eliminated. The Kol does need help bu mostly antimatter help. Do you think people say "Protoss needs to have a range buff on Forcefield because when it lags it to hard to use" no not at all. If you receive lag it just means you need a better com

If a player controlled fleet had the same level of armor one finds installed on a pirate ship, than the game would be a lot harder. And it would be nice to nerf the pirates slightly. I dislike having to spam lots of static defenses for the sole purpose of dealing with pirates sent after me due to

A new update and support via Steam will certainly help things, but for a game released in what, 2008? That should be obvious by now.
You have a small independent game that had almost no support from a small company, getting support from the valve. This is a HUGE boost, the game is also already getti
All the deliverance engine needs to do is make it have an unstoppable culture spread. The duration is short, and this would allow the culture buffs to apply in the system. Only problem is I can see deliverance engine spam being an unstoppable, but slow force.

What do you recommend, should I just bust out a Kol and level it up through the level up button and getup flak burst as quick as possible? Maybe even a pair of Kols would make great supporting additions if it was not for those Antimatter cost, but since you are using pirates that means you have a bit of Antimatter gain when in your own territories culture.
It all depends on how he starts it, make sure he gets an Akkan first as well as a colonizer to colonize two low level players((moons/Asteroids)Assuming he is not playing on stock maps) at the same time. Modular Architecture is actually really good place down one civic center first and max that out it reduces extractor cost to 150 which pays itself off after 9 extractors are built. Sometimes rushing trade ports is not the best thing because maps can have very random pick
Maybe they did not have it and did have it at the same time. Just they were lost. Until recently?
thats true, I suppose. I just noticed my fleet was getting ripped by bombers so... Made me sad.
So with my current series of Pirate Threads and Pirate obsessions. I actually did manage to come up with a strategy that was interesting although the results were awkward. As I dont think they were bad or good. Essentially what this strategy revolves around is being in the Eco Position as a TEC rebel, you do everything like you normally would. Expand, Trade Ports, Rinse and repeat. Upon reaching a stable economy(mine was +100 credits at around 20 minutes I believe.) I would start techin

Trust me I looked at that already.
Im trying to make one race, its not working out to well. I have no idea what im doing was wondering if anyone would want to actually sit down and take the time to teach me better use of how to mod.

I am a bit disappointed that this didn't happen...
Like said above I was expecting something like that to. I thought keep steal antimatter on Loyalist LF's but maybe give a small AoE drain on the Rebel LFs for the Advent.
Capital Ships is not the way because if you watch the replay all he had was a titan and around 18 or so guardians. Capital ships cannot spam enough to make it a difference. It needs to be a spammable solution or it really will not make a difference.
Quoting MayallCommunion, reply 6I suppose I agree with this as well. Putting there foot down would be good. But I just think making the Pirates cooler would be best for the game. And add more depth, while improving the competitiveness. Thing is most of the time people still play with pirates off. They've got a little more than a month to finish the game and a good chunk of that will be fixing bugs and desyncs. They don't ha

Its ultimate is lackluster, while yes taking over a planet is nice. You don't keep any of its benefits aside from allegiance. You may as well just bomb the planet and colonize it than put a point into its ultimate as more points into the other abilities would be much better. I agree with
