I looked through, but didn't notice many related post. What are the controls for the Cartographer's Table? I've learned right-click to place selected object, and (+) (-) keys change the brush size. Is their a way to undo an action? How do you create, edit, and delete the starting grain, material, and essence of a tile? I'm also having trouble placing rivers. Portions of the river will float in the air and de

I don't have the game infront of me, but I'm pretty sure this works... don't just mouse over the unit - click on the tile it's in. You'll notice the info box on the LEFT (not the tool-tip on the right) is now an info box of that army. Click on that and you'll get full details (you can use the arrows on the top of the details page to move through the different units in the army). From there you can mouse over the enemy's speci
My only gripe with FE is (besides the little bit of polish it needs) is that the turn based battles get boring. I get my doomstack of champs (augmented with a couple trained troops) and I can just deploy the near same strategy with each battle and it get boring. There needs to be more depth in the tactical battles because I don't trust autoresolve.
Actually, I think that is a problem more with the variations from monst

Because "normal" difficulty has the right amount and toughness of monsters but "challenging" is a bit too much.
Actually, the amount of monsters and their behaviour are too totally different settings in the sandbox game. The world difficulty will control their behaviour - you shouldn't have to hit the XML to mod anything.

Actually, they will not be wielding those nasty swords. Mostly because they don't exist. Loot in the game has a fairly short improvement line. Once you start getting toward the stronger opponents, your mage will become invaluable, as you conquer more shards and your magic becomes more powerful. Mages are of course, very dependent on how much magic there is in your game. With lots of shards, the mana is free-flowing and a couple of Fire shards, a coup

I know it's not usual for Companies to give out sales numbers, but SD is not a normal company and I hope they can at least tell us whether FE has been worse/as/better then expected. Good Luck to them in any case! 4 hours until release (7 hours before I get home though)!

Druss Blade, anyone? Seriously - lvl 18? By lvl 18, most of the time I've forgotten that I got the sword 10 levels ago. Can't wait for release today and mod the crap out of the weapon drops to do some unique (even if no powerful) things.

I downloaded the game a few days ago and been playing and it's just infuriating early game when your hero dies and gets a horrible injury. I basically ragequit or reload at that point. An alternative is to be very, very careful about assessing your stack, and choosing your battles. I don't write this to diss you. There are many lo

Stun can be resisted. However, I think the Wildland bosses resistances seem too low. It's easy to slow, stun, etc.... them. That being said, I find opening up the wildlands is usually a big waste of time. By the point in the game where you have everything you need to beat the boss, you rarely need what it gives you (city bonus, mediocre-good fertile land).
Champions should give up at item when they die. If not the items they were carrying, then at least a random item based on their level similar to what you get in lairs or quests. I think they've nerfed loot to the point now where it just isn't very fun since most of what you get is just crap.
\ Yup - they did.

I've noticed this happens infrequently - usually when an army of mine and some monster are in close quarters, with multiple ways blocked, often the monster will end up attacking me. My guess is the pathing AI tells it that it's only option is to go through a spot I either recently occupied or it's imply the only option for it to move, nad I'm in the way, so it attacks. Personally, I'm fine with that behavior - I think it's good, but it perhaps nee

I would thank them, but I'm afraid my new horrible addiction to this game is going to cost me my jo, my health and my family! J/K just keep pounding that code! And don't forget everyone that word of mouth counts a LOT for these kinds of games! Spread the word!
And why are we still seeing offers to trade 22 Civilization tech points for 22 Civilization tech points
That's how it works. There is a hint in one of the loading screen that tells you this. You are probably thinking that you LOSE 22 point and then GAIN 22 points in this transaction. You don't. You both gain 22. Trading is a very important part of the game for research.&n

Actually, if it's meant to be that way (if not - bug) then there could at least be some text after finishing a wildlands telling you that soon it will "become a verdant preserve waiting for colonization" or something fanciful like that. Then as a user I would have the expectation that something would resolve itself. And expectations are everything :)
